Dear Sir In Re: Mooren Borthors.
The contract'nade between Mooren Brothers and the City of South
Bonus under date of October 24th. 1922, provides among other things that Mooren
Btothers would, upon reoeipt.of notice from the Board of Public Works of the City,
promptly remove their sidetracks which now crosses the alley and leads from the rear of
their warehouse and connects the same with the New York Central tracks.
The Grand Trunk. Railway Company will be engaged in the work of
construction during the coning year, and I think it advisable at this time to notify
Mooren-Brothers to remove this track on or before_ January lst., 1926.

Mooren Brothers: Your attention is hereby called to the oentrwet between yours&
yourselves and the City of South Bend, made Out. 249 1922 and particularly to
that paragraph wherein it is ag:beed that if " any railroad may desire to con-
struct its tracks along the north side -of the tracks of the N. Y. C. R. R. Co.
the parties of the second part will upon receipt.of notice remove their side-
tracks " etc.,«
You are hereby notified that beeause vf'the elevation of the Grand
Trunk Railway Tracks through the City of South Bend you will in accordance
with-this-.greemont remove your sidetracks before Jan. 191926,
