24th., 1925.
Byrd met in regular session at 9:00 A.M. All members present.
Inspector reported as follows on petitions: Petition siggned by
Chas. H. Ruggles for light at Longley Avenue and Fremont Street and on Longley
Avenue and Meade Street . Recommended that a 2500 Lumen Incandescent, Lamp pendant
fixture dust proof bowl refractor with mast arm Instruction be placed at Longloy
Avenue and Fremont Street. Report approved.
Petition signed by Clarence Riedel for light at intersection of
Miner -Street and Walsh Street , referred to Inspector ver report, also petition signed
by,L®uis Bourdon et al for light at corner of Vine Street and'27th. Street.
In re petition: fil*-d`.for ' light at corner of Linden Avenge and Fremont
Street , no -light necessary at this intersection. Report approved.
/Att,y. Bertsh and Earl Jackson appeared before Board and presentee
petition for the pavement on Rose Street from Portage Avenue to Kessler Blvd. and
Kessler Blvd. from Rose Street teend of present pavement on Kessler Blvd. Placed on
file.
C*mniunieation received from Trustees of Hering House in re light
placed in front of Hering House, same being letter of thanks. Read and ordered filed.
Excavation bond of Frank H. Mahler and Russell Myers approved.
Mr. Greening and Jackson property owners on Vassar Avenue appeared
and requested that tho petition filed in 1924 for pavement be given considered.
No action taken at this time.
Engineer signed assessment roll and final estimate under Improvement
Resolution No. 1283, Assessment roll adopted and final estimate allowed. Notice of
adoption of the assessment roll and of hearing upon the same on the lathday of March
1925 at 7:15 P. M. ordered published as provided by law.
Claims as evidenced by vouchers numbered from to
inclusive were approved amounting to ......$2,23$,30.
