in re removing an are light now at the corner.of Lincoln Way East and Wayne
Streat,to the opposite side of Lincoln Way East en account of said light being
in the way of .entrance to Roxanna Oil. Co. filling statieng and said pele to be
removed at the expense of said Oil Company. Referred to Inspectar. #or report.

Hearing had on Condemnation Resolution No, 91 for the Opening
and Widening of La Salle"'Avenue from Sunnyside Avenue to a paint IS feet east of
the west line of lot 52 in Sunnyside Manor.

The Board therefore declares the above -property -in all things
condmmnec, and appropriated for public use, and the Board now orders that a list
or roll be prepared of all the owners or holders of property* and of valuable in0
terests therein sou..ht to be taken or to be 1njukiQusIk.a:ff-s,c 1,ed, which list
or roll shall also describe the property b- enefieially aff,cted.

benefits in the matter of the Widening of Webster Street from Indiana Avenue to
First alley north of Indians Avenue, under Condemnation Resolution No, 90.
In the above matter remonstrator appeared and written remon-
strance was filed. The Board find that after hearing all parties interested
present.in person or represented by attorney the Board J over rule each and ever
every remonstrance filed in said proceedings and separately and severally confia+
confirm and sustain each assessment of benefit and each award of damages as hers
,tofore made in said proceedings. The Board further confirm and sustain each and
every award of damages and every assessment, of benefit heretofore made in said
proceedings and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 90 is hereby con-
cluded.

damages and the assessment of benefits in the above enttled Irroceeding and for
their ground of remonstrance say

the erection of a stone building That the proportionate value of such land is
two thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars, that such property under this condemnation proceeding
will be.destroyed not only tot'a business site but also for any -and all purposes; that
the effect of such condemnation will be to give these remonstrants a long frontage for
improvements and developements; that the cost of curb, walk, grade and pavement will fa,
xceed the value of the remainder of said unoccupied ..footage even after such improve-
ments are put in.
Seconds That the award of damages as to the land owned by Stephen and
Barbara Rebicz in lot No, 70 in said Addition is too small; that the assessment of`bene
fits as to land owned by the said remonstrants is too large.

The excavation for the foundation for the proposed building at the
sout-east corner of Michigan Street, and Colfax Avenue, is such that the foundations
of the Colfax Avenue Bridge are endangered. Your attention is hereby called to this
condition and you are requested to take such measures as may be necessary to pro-
tect the bridge without delay.
