The City Engiheer submitted the li'st of property owners in the matter of the appropriation of certain property under Condemnation. Resolution No. 89 for the Opening -of Dayton Street from East Line of Bungalow Piece to Robinson Street in the City of South Bend, Indians, as per resolution adopted July 22nd.9 1925 . W);ioh list includes the names of the owners and holders of property and its'interests therein sought to be taken or beneficially or injuriously a;ffeeted, and the description of the several pieces of property which is affected by the said appropriation proceedings, Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained and to assess the benefits accruing to each piece of property'upon said list. It - was thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and un- animously adopted, resolved that said list, together with the amounts of benefits and net benefits and net damages therein set forth as to the several parcels of land be adopted and that the respective amount of benefits con- ,tained in said list be and are hereby assessed against the several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list,, and that the respective amounts of damages contained in the said list be and are hereby awarded to the several )trsci s of land as specifically set forth in said list, and that net .: benefits or net damages, as the case may be as to the respective tracts of land, con- tained in said list are hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may be as to h the said several tracts of land, The Board hereby further sets off the benefits and damages eah each against the other where both benefits and damages are assessed, against, the same piece of property, tract of land or interests, and hereby fixes toe, said respective net benefits as to the amount that shall be paid by the respective Qwners as benefits, and further hereby fixes the respective net damages as to the several tracts as the amount that shall 'be paid to the owner of the respective tracts as damages. Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted the day of March 1925 at 7:15. P.M. was fixed as the day on which this Board will receive or hear remonstrances from persons with regard to the (amount of their respective awards or assessments , and the Clerk of this Board was(instructed to prepare and cause to ba.duly and legally given, notices to the owners of each parcel of property, showing the amount of the assessments ( or awards with a description of the p property affected and the date of .said hearing. Salary of Cyril Dunn in the Engineering Department increased from $3.50 per day 66 $4.00 per day. 1 Tuesday Februa rd., 1925. Continued, Engineering Department is hereby instructed to secure space for their automobiles at 232-234 North Michigan Street Strayer and Moon Garage, thus vacating space in,the City Hall garage to the Police Department, to April lst., 1925.
