Board met in regular session at 9:00 A.M. All members present.
_ Inspector.of Lights madefollowingreports on petitions.
In re petition for light at Pleasant and 28th. Street. Light
not necessary. Petition denied.
In.re'petition for light on'Kaley Street, and Napier St. a 1000
lumen Incandescent lamp radial reflector bracket construction recommended installed.
Report approved and light ordered.
In re petition for light at corner of Wilber St eel, and Longley
Avenue,. 1lght,rnot :necessary petition denied.
Petition signed by Jay C. Bowsher at al for the vacation of
ight fool, alley running between lots 13 and 14 in Dunbar's Sub. Div. of Bank Out Lots
31 and'32 extending from South line of Colfax Avenue the length of one lot to the
next alley filed and resolution ordered. ( Insert see files.)
Petition signed by Jacob Christianson et -al for red stop light
at soutn end of 23rd. Street. Filed and referred to Street Department to investigate
and advise,as to the necessity of a plank barricade.,
'Request for a typerwiter in the office of the Detective Department
received and placed on file. Clerk instructed to request Underwood Company to put in
their proposition in writing by 9:00 A.M. Wednesday January 21st., 1925. Pveposition
submitted by the Royal Typewriter Company opened and read but no action taken.
Appraisers P. E. Bondurant, Frank J. Anderson and Ed Neddo
filed following report of damages to property taken for street openAngs and widening.
Damages to property taken in Opening of Dayton Street from
Carroll Street.to Robinson Street. ( Insert see files.) rlaced on file.
Damages onpeoperty taken for Opening of Webster Street from
Indiana Avenue to the St. Joseph South Band & Southern Railway. Approved with blue
print attached. ( Insert see files.)
Blue print submitted by the Roxanna Petroleum Corporation of
St. Louis Mo. marked C.-3842 -0 shoeing general lay -out of Service Station at Wayne
Lincoln Quay East and Columbia Street this City approved and carry out with curve
on 10foot radius as shown on blue print. 9 See files for print.)

Excavation bond of Jamos B. Clinger as principal and The Aetna
Casualty & Surety Company as surety mapproved. ( See files for bond.)

Mr.E//&e,Weiis of the Wells Mfg. Company of 1701-1719 So. Main St.
appeared and verbally requested the vacation of the alley west of his factory on
account.of proposed expansion of factory. No action taken. Board advised that a
trip of inspection would be made.
Claims as evidenced by vouchers bymbered from 108 to 127
inclusive allowed.
Board adjourned at 11:00 A.A. to make trigs of inspection
on various matters pending before them at this time.
