2010 South Bend Common Council
The March 8, 2010 meeting of the PARC Committee was called to order by its Chairperson,
Council Member Ann Puzzello at 3:15 p.m. in the Council Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Dieter, Puzzello, Varner, Oliver J. Davis,
Rouse, Kirsits and White; PARC Committee citizen member Kyle Chamberlin, Mayor Stephen
J. Luecke, Rita Kopola, Don Inks, Dave Tungate, Jeff Parrott of the South Bend Tribune and
Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand.
Council Member Puzzello noted that the Committee consists of Council Members Rouse, Oliver
J. Davis, Kirsits and herself, and that Kyle Chamberlin is a citizen member.
Bill No. 11-10 Proposed Appropriation of $10,200 for Marketing the Morris Performing
Arts Center:
Council Member Puzzello noted that she had received a communication dated March 2, 2010
from Dennis J. Andres, Executive Director of the Morris Performing Arts Center (copy attached)
requesting that Bill No. 11-10 be continued until the March 22, 2010 Council meeting.
Vice-President Oliver Davis made a motion, seconded by Council Member Kirsits that Bill No.
11-10 be recommended to be continued until March 22°d at the request of the Petitioner. The
motion passed.
Miscellaneous Business:
Council Member Puzzello announced that "Communiversity Day" will be held on April 10~'
from 1-3 pm. She noted that students will be working at 4-5 city parks, the zoo, and the
conservatory. There will be a cook-out at the Robinson Center afterwards. She asked everyone
to consider participating.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member Puzzello
adjourned the meeting at 3:19 p.m.

PALAIS ROYALE MARKETING FUND (FUND NUMBER 273) FOR A ONE YEAR
BILLBOARD LEASE TO MARKET THE MORRIS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
As I will out of town on March 8, I would like a continuance on this bill until the Monday,
March 22 Common Council Meeting.
Thank You and please confirm the acceptance of this request for a continuance on Bill
11-10.
