Deferred hearing had on Resolution No. 4 for separation.of grade of New.York Central Ry. Company. Atty. Buczkowski present. Hearing deferred until Wednesday November 12th.9 1924 at 9:00 A.M. city Engineer instrupted , to pay salary of John, T, Neenan -Clerk in the Engineering Department up to October 31st,., 1924. ° Chief Lane took up matter of placing lights on Maggiets Court and Division Street. All members present, Concerning the tzbprovement of the roadway of Sorin Street from Notre Dame Avenue to Eddy Street In pursuance to Resolution No. 142,E t*he petitin of freeholders residing on said street :bs considered, and the report of the City Engineer is received and evidence is heard, and the Board finds that said petitioners do not constitute a = jority of the freeholders resitting on said, street to be improved, and hereby denies said petition. And the City Engineer reports that the Harry N. Barnes is the. lowest and best bidders for the kind of pavement heretofore adopted by the Board and the Board finds d6hd lets the contract for said improvements to him, and orders that said improvement be made with Brick *tth a bituminous filler and on a gravelL rase and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby confirmed and ratified.
