Board met in regular session at 9:00 A.M. All members present.
Mr. A. Mattes took up matter of having poles replaced at the
corner of North Shore Drive and Leeper Avenue. Referred to Inspector for
,investigation'.
Harry N.-Barnes Contractor` requested that the sum of $1,000,00
held upAugust,- 13th., on grade, ou.rh and walk 'Improvement on Washington AveNue
be released., This matter to be taken up Wednesday October 8th., 1924 at
-715 P.M-Glerk'instruoted to notify Claude Taylor to be present.

Indiana & Aichigan Elea. Co. ordered to remove guy wire attac
attached to tree at Corby Street between Arthur Street and Walsh Street o_ n
north side of Street.
Permission granted to the Indiana Bell Telephone Company
to place a 40 ft. pole in the alley south of Monroe Street, e&st"of Taylor
Street and see that pavement is satisfactorily repaired.
The following notice is hereby ordered sent to Jefferson
Hotel Company.
Attention Mr. Van Valkenburg.
You are maintaining a stairway
in the sidewalk on the Jefferson Blvd. side of your hotel.
These stairways ar* an eneroeh-
ment on City property, a nd_are being removed whever they have been built in the
business seetin of the City, as they are both an obstruction and a hazard.
May we ask that you take steps to have this closed_ without our issuing a formal
order for you U de So.

Contract with Carl Zinzmep as contactor for grade, cure and walk
on Vn n Buren Street from Sancome Avenue to C. I. & S. Ry. as provided in Improvement
Resolution Ijo. 14.33 adopted Se ten6er 24th., 1924 signed and construction bond
attached hereto in the sum of 1636.00 with the Aetna. Casualty Company of Hartford
Conn approved, and contract and bond ordered filed.
The sum of $200.00 held up on Trunk sewer on alley east of High
Street, Fairview Avenue, Irvington Avenue, Eckman Street, pakside Street, Woodside
Street and High Street all in Weidler's 2nd. Addition be a`nd`is hereby released and
controller ordered notified.
