Board met in regular session at 7*15,P.M. All members present. Hearings had on assessment rolls and final estimates as follows: - pavement on alley west, sf Willi seta Street from Division Street to AllfrX North of South Street. Under Improvement Resolution Ne.` 1262. Water connections on Jefferson Street from Lafayette Blvd.'to Taylor Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1382, Filed August 1301924 Sheet asphalt pavement on Donald Street from Michigan Street " to Main Street, under I10tovement Resolution No. 1372 Filers August 26th.,. 1924. Concrete pavement on alley north of Wayne Street from Carroll Street to.Lincolx Wary East, under Improvement Resolution No. 1263. Filed August 26th. , 1924. A Grade, curb and iwalk on Parkview Place, Hollywood Place, Inglewood Place., Berkley•Place, Beverley Place, and Wilson Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 1271. Filed August 27th., 1924. Grade, curb and walk on 0 'Brien Street :'a also the.east of Johnson Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1270. Filed August 24,1924. Grade, curb and emlk on Victoria Street from Miami Street to Marine Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1200 Filed August, 26th.1, 1924. Oanerete pavement on Qui,by Street from Francis Strbe*t to Eddy Street under Improvement Resvlup on No. 1373. Piled August 26th , 1924. Grade,. curb and malk on Carlisle Street from Indiana Avenue to Delaware Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1297 Filed August 26th., 19240 . Pipe sewer on Turnoek Street, from South Bend Avenue to Corby Stye& under Imp:roveinent Resolution No. 1350. Filed August-26th., 1924. Pipe sewer on William Street from Washington Avenue to Alley North of Washington Avenue, under Improvemen`L.'Resolution No. 1365. Filed August 26th., 1924. Grade, curb and walk on Franklin Street from Calvert Street to - Ewing Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 1300. Filed August 26th.9 1924. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. The Beard therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed August 13,26th. and 27th., 1924 are benefitted in the amounts as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find, that the assess- ment roll files August 13th., 26th. and 27th., 1924 and the final estimates allowed August 13th., 26th. and 27th., 1924 should be and the same are hereby ' in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for Trunk sewer ; on alley east of High Street , Fairview Avenue, Irvington Avenue, Eckman St. Oakside Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1074. , In the above matur DO mnstraters appeared but no written remon- strance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed August 1924 is benefitted in the amount as shown on said roll, and the Board further find, that the assessment roll filed August 1924 and.. the final estimate allowed August- 1924 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. City Controller requested to withhold from final settelement the sum of 0200.00 until the sewer excavations have been filled or leveled off to the satis- faction of the City Engineer. Property owners presented petition for sewer on Main Street from Ewing Avenue to Woodside. Petitiontpppr©ved and City Engineer requested to pAepare plans and investigate ways and means for this sewer and submit report. Rudolph Donmoyer a resident on Lincoln Way East appeared Apnd took up the matter of changing lighting system on Denmoyer Avenue and requested if any change was to be made to have underground installed now. Waiver for grade, curb.and walk on.yan Buren Street from Sancome Ave. to Wilber Street filet by Jehi L. Taylor. No action taken. In re_ opaminioatien root ived' under date of September 3rd ., 1924 City Engineer reports that his records show no connections on property of Wm. R. Zmsinger at 822 and 826 Linc©in Way East. Petition filed for pavement -on Vassar Avenue_ from. Lawndale Averne to Portage Avenue . •Sare deferred until 1925 for consideration. Contract for water connections on Fellow's Street itdChapin Street awarded to Rocco Simeri at ....... $158.00 Petition received read 'and Placed on file for grade, sidewalk and curb and sewer on Keseiuszko Street from Sample Street to 620 feet south. Complaint received from Councilman Hutchinson, Dr. Owens et al about dangerous condition of pavement between car tracks on Portage Avenue between Virldu-et and Keller Street: Filed and referred to the Street. Commis-sioner, • o v - Engineer signed assessment roll and final estimate under improvement Resolutions as follows: Brick pavement on Johnson Street from Washington Avenue to Lincoln Way We>st, under Improvement Resolution No. 1302. Grade, curb andwalk on Meade Street from Elwod Avenue to Keller St. under Improvement Resolution No. 1356. > ,Assessment rolls adopted and final estimates allowed.
