Budget of Board of Public for the year of 1925 approved and ordered
sent to the Mayor. ( Insert. see, files.)
Order sent to New Mueller Steam Boiler Company of Milwrwukee, Wise.
for one new boiler for the No. 5 Hose House.
Clerk instructed to notify Building Commissioner, City Electrician and
Clerk to appear before the Board Tuesday July 29th.9 1924 at 9:00 A.M.

pa a sanL°requested in said petifLion# and the City Engineer reports that H. W. Reed &
Son Construction Ce. is the lowest and best bidder for said improvement, andthe Board
`so finds, and lets the contrast for said improvement to hits, and _orders that said improve-
ment be made with Bibrolithie and all proceedings keretefore had in this matter are hereby
confirmed and ratified.
Concerning the improvement o the roadway of DubailAvenue from
Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue in pursuance to Resolution No. 1392 the petition of free-
holders residing_on said street is considered , and the report of the City Enginee is
received and all evidence is heard, and the Board of Public Works finds that said petition
zrs constitute a majority in number of the freeholders residing upon said street to be
improved, and that said petition is sufficient and it is therefore considered and adjudged
that said improvement be made with Sheet asphalt using Mexican Asphalt the kind Of
pavement requested in said petition; and tke City Engineer reports that The Alberti
Construction Coap my is the lowest and best bidder for said improvement, and the Board
do so rind. , and lets the contract for said improvement to then and orders that said
improvement be made with Sheet asphalt using Mexican Asphalt and all proceedings heretofer
had in this matter are kereby confirmed and ratified.
Tke City Engineer having reported on 1abulatlon of bids,
preliminary orders were entered as follows: -IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1330 for pavement
on Lincoln Way East from Washington Avenue to Sample Street, Action on bids being deferr
to this date, the Board now designates Brick on concrete bse with asphalt filler
as the kind of pavement with whisk said street is to be improved, and further action here
continubd until 5tb. day of August 1924 at 10:00 A.M.
IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 1331 for pavement on Washin ton Street
free! Michigan Street to Lincoln Way,East. Action on bids having been deferref until
this date, the Board now designates Brick on concrete base with asphalt filler as the
kind of pavement with which said street is to be improved, and further action herein
continued until. 5th. day of August 1924 at i01OO7A31. '
