Board stet in apeaial session %t 9t6a A.M. All members present,.
Jacob Hoffman appeared before the Board and presented petition for
installation -of Boulevard lights on North Michigan Street from La Salle Avenue to Leeper
Psrk. Same referred to Light Inspector.
Communication received from Mayor E. F. Seebirt requesting estimate
of reuirements for expenses of the Board for the year of 1925. Clerk instructed to
notify heads of departments to prepare estimate of expenses necessary.
Clerk instructed to see that, the following request. is given
to each sewer contractor before his bond ib approved.
Sewer Con,:raetors must have permit from Engineer's Department
to cut into streets before contract is delivered.

In reference to. the contract for grade, curb and walk, on the sash Carlisle
Street from W. Indiana Avenue to Delaware Street. We request thatthe gravel and clay
in the center o_ the street between Dubail and W. Calvert St., remain undisturbed for
the reason it would not interfere with the grade of said street. We vent to quite an
exa pnse in putting this gravel on the street a few years ago and if it should be taken
off_ it would make the street almost impossible in bad weather.
