Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.11:4. Aii members present.

In the above. muter remonstrators appeared }but no written remonstrance
was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed izi 'said .roll filed
June 11th., 1924 is benefitted in the amounts as shown in said roll, and the. Board
further find, that the assessment roll filed June lith., 1`924 and the final estimate
allowed June 11th., 1924 should be and the same are hereby in all things, ratified,
confirmed and approved.
Hearing had on Resolution for pavement on alley between ortage Ave.
and Ashland Avenue from Rex Street to Portage Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No.
1396. No property owners appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. The
Board therefore finds that, thr benefits to oroperty liabel to be assessed for said
improvement are equs;l to the estimated cost of the same, and said resolution is now
confirmed. Date for receiving ,, opening -and considering sealed proposals fixed as
5th. dat, of August, 1924 and notice thereof ordered published as provided by law.
Hearing had on Vacation Resolution No. 87 for the vacation of
7ft. alley, lying east of lot 41 in James Judies 1st, Addition to the City of South Bend,
and running from Madison Street to McKinley Avenue.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remon»
sirances were filed. The Board therefore sustain all former action taken on said
resolution and declare the above described property in ail things vacated and this
resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.

Hearing had on assessment roll of swards of damages and assessments
of benefits for the Vacation of the alley lying south of lots 192,3 and 5 also 14 foot
alley running east and crest lying north of lot 8 ill in Johnson's Sub. Div, of large
lot 18 in Cottrell's First Addition under Vacation Resolution No. 90.
In the above matter no remmonstratord. ap eared and no written remon-
strance was filed. The Benefits and damages being equal The Board therefore declares
the above roil filed March 181h.9 1924 in all things ratified, confirmed_ and.approved

Hearing had on roil of awards of damages and assessments of benefits
for the Vacation of thealley lying between lots 23 and 24 Prairie A#,ntia>,Audition,
from Dorothy Street to First alley west of Dorothy Street, under Vacas ion Resolution
No. 81.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared a.�d no written remon-
strance was filed. The(benefits and damages equal) the Board therefore declares the
above roll filed March 18th., 1924 in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and

opening of the 1st, alley south of Prairie Avenue from Dorothy Street from first alley
rest of Dorothy Street, under Condemnation Resolution No. 81.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
strances were filed. The Board find that the property assessed in said roil filed
March 18th., 1924 are benefited and damaged respectively as shown on said roil and said
roll is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved as on inally filed, and
rill action.under Condemnation resolution No. 81 is hereby concluded. Insert see files

for the Vacation of alley lying south of lot 25 George W. Swygart's -3rd. Audition to the
first alley east of Magnolia Avenue, under Vacation Resolution No. 79.
In the above matter noremonstrators appeared and no written remonstra
was filed. The (benefits and damages equal). The Board therefore declares the
alcove roll filed March 18th., 1924 in all things ratified, eofirmed and approved and

257 and east line of said.lQt extended south under Condemnation Resolution No..79
In the above matter Martha Ivan appeared and remonstrated aaaIInst
amount of damages allowed, but no written remonstrance was filed. The Board after
hearing all interested pirtie's modified said roll by increasing Martha Ivan property
damages,to $11,000.09 and spreading benefits of $10.00 on Lot 254 Charles-Weidlers,
$1.0.00 Lot 255 Charles Weidlers, Lot 256 $20.00 Charles Weidlers, Lot 266 $10.00•
M. Bergman, Lot, 267. $10.00 Charles Weidlers and Lot 268,Charles Weidlers $2U.00
The Board further find that the property assessed in said roll
filed ASay 20th., and modified as shown in red on assessment roll this 2nd. day of
July 1924 are benefited and damaged respectively as shown in red on modified roll-
-and said rail is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified
-and all action under Condemnation Resolution No. 79 is hereby concluded.
