Werntz appeared before the Board and took up matter of using; di:'ferenl, kind of paint than bid on on City Cemetery fence, Board decided paint bid on should be used. Board resolved that bids be advortrised for pavement on. Lincoln Pray East from Washington Avenue to Sample Street and on Washington Avenue from Lincoln Way'East to Michgan Street, on July 2nd., 1924 and July 9th,, 1924 bids to be received up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday July 22nd., 1924 the.Board reserves the right ; to re jest any and all bids, • f Bogard instructed clerk to notify J. W. Doyle of the Albert CobStructn Construction Co. and.Frank J, Murray to appeare before the Board Wednesday July 2nd, 1924 at 7:15 P:.M. in regard to Sancome and Van Buren Street pavement impt. Barnes as contractor for grade, curb and walk on eighteenth Street, from Mishawaka Avenue to Hiidreth Ct. as provided by improve- ment Resolution No. 1353 adopted April. 16th., 1924 signed and construction bond in the sum of $1092.00 attached thereto with United States Fidility and Guaranty Co. as surety, approved. Contract and bond ordered filed. Cntract with H. N. Barnes ascontractor for grade, curb and wi k on Bissell Street from Arthur Street to E. City Limits, as provided by improvement Resolution No. 1364 tax adopted April 16th., 1924 signed and construction -bond attached thereto in the sutra of $29418.00 with the United States Fidelity and Guaranty. Company as sureties approved. Contract and bond ordered filed. Contract with The Williston Construction Company -as contractor -For sheet asphalt pavement on Calvert Street from Michigan Street to Kemble;Avenue, as provided in 'Improvement Resolution No. 1366 adopted April. 16th., 1924; signed with Constructionbond in the sing of $19,187.00attached hereto with Globe Indemnity Company as surties approved. Contract with the White Construction Company for Sheet, asphalt pavement on Marque tte Avenue from Michigan Street to Lafayette Street by resurfacing as provided in improvement Resolution No. 1375 adopted April 22nd., 1924. Signed and tonstruetion bond attached thereto in the sum of $2,560.00 with the United States Fidelity -and guaranty Company as sureties, approved. Contract and bond ordered filed. Contract with Wm.
