are -hereby : in all things ratified, confirmed and approved..

in said -City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construct, on of

Hearing had on alley south of Washington Avenue from Lafaya��e''
Street to William Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1379
In the above matter the Board -continued said.hearing until Wed,
June 4th., 1924. at 7:15P.M.
Bond and contract, of Plummer Construction Company for Brick
pavement on Gravel foundation with bituminous Hiller on Fisher Street fromm Harris
Street to 2nd, alley west of Harris Street is hereby cannelled as verbally agreed
upon by Mr. Plummer under date of .May 27th., 1924. The Plummer Constr. Co,-t-0
sign acceptance Of cancelled contract.
Petitionsfiled as follows: -
Sewer on Angell €Avenue from St. Joseph River to Iroquois -St.
argaette Avenue from Angelis Avenue to Parkovash Avenue, Ostemo Street from
Iroquois Street, to Marquette Avenue. North Shore Drive from Parkovash Avenue to
Angelis Avenue. Resolution ordered on the same Rradine, curb etRlix on b+bh
sides and walk on east side of Clyde Street from Ewing Avenue to VictoriA Street
Resolution ordered.
Request from the Postal Telegraph Company in regard to putting
in a two duct conduit line on Lincoln Way East from the end of Present under-
ground east to Sample Street . Same grant,ed'.
Contract awarded to C. E. Reesh Company for sewer of Olive
Steet, Ewing Avenue and Brairie avenue at .......,$12,558.90
The grading of Sampson Sttreet from Bowman Street to Ewing
Avenue deferred until Tuesday dune 3rd., 1924 for investigation.
Appraisers Philip Bondurant, Ed. Neddo and F. J. Anderson
reported that samages 60 property at corner of Leeper Avenue and Niles Avenue
and Napoleon Blvd. to Samuel Leeper be set at $200.00. Board ordered Engineer
to prepare rill.
The City Engineer took up the matter of placing a sewer on
Calvert Street between michigan Street and Main Street and Board instructed
Engineer to notify property owners on Calvert Street between Main St and Mich.
Street; to appeare before the Board Wednesday June 4th., 1924 at 7:30 P.M.

Grades allowed, as follows:$ .
Grade of alley between Portage Avenue and woodimrd Avenue from Nor,
westerly line of Hudson Avenue to southeasterly line of AnIgella Avenne.
Grade on Brookfield Street , Magyar Court & Glenn Streets from
Prairie Avenue to North line of Ewing Avenue and from Brookfield Street to E. line of
alley west of Brookfield Street to end of court and from Prairie Avenue to North line
of Ewing Avenue.

The following resolutions were adopted by the Board.
LOCAL SEWER IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION N0: 13980
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,3 County
of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, That the "construction of a local sewer, intended and
adapted only for local use by the property holders whose property abuts thereon, and not
intended or adapted for aece iving sewerage from collateral drains , be " and the same is
hereby ordered in and along Sunnyside Avenue from Palmer Boulevard to Sorin Street,
Miner Street from Sunnyside Avenue to alley west, of Sunnysude Avenue also CedarsStreet
from Sunnyside Avenue tt alley west of Sunnyside Avenue as follows, to -wit: -
Beginning In the center of Miner Street at the west line -of Madison Park
Addition thence east'along the center line of Miner Street to Sunnyside Avenue with a
fifteen (15)- inch vitrified ppipe sewer, thence northerly along Sunnyside Avenue to the
center lln'`of Miner Street east of Sunnyside Avenue with a fifteen (15) inch vitrified
pipe sewer, thence north along the center line of Sunnyside Avenue to the north line of
lot 70 in Madison Park Addition with a ten (10) inch vitrified pipe sewer, also beginning

follows, to -wit: -
Beginning at the int rseetion of the east edge of the St. Joseph River
with AngellA Avenue, thence east along that Angella Avenue to the center of North Shore
Drive with a..twenty four (24) inch sewer Chance east along:Angella Avenue to the center
of Marquette Avenue with an eighteen (181 inch sewer, thence east along the Angella Ave

Hearing had on roll of awards of damages and assessments of
benefits in the matter of., of the Vacation of All streets and alleys in the Realty
and Construction First Addition except Keller Street, under Vacation Resolution
No. 83.
In the above matter no remonstxAtors appeared and no written
remonstrances were filed. The(Benefits and damages being equal ) the Board there-
