Hearing had on Improvement Resolutions as follows: - Pipe sewer on Dubail Avenue from Webster Street to Walnut Street, under. improvement Resolution No. 1349, Pipe, sewer on Tu.rnook Street from.South.Bend Avenue to Corby Street, under Improvement Resoiut°ion'No. 1350. Grade, curb and walk on Vernon Street from Calvert Street to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution No. 1351. Grade, curb and walk on Hastings Street from Twenty nineth Street to First alley east thereof, and from the Thirty Fourth Street east to Logan Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1352. Grade, curb and walk on borth sides of Eighteenth Street from.Mishawaka Avenue to*Hildreth Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1353, Mod1fled to read grade and curb on both sides of street and walk on west side only. Pavement on Caroline Street from Lincoln Way Nast to Calvert Street, under Improvement Resolution No, 1367, Pavement on Calvert Street from Kemble Street to Michigan Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1366. Pipe sewer on William Street from manhole at the center line of Washington Avenue to the first alley north of Washington Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No, 1365 Upon said hearings no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits 'to property liab4t to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer,, and thereupon takes final action on ,said resolution as originally adopted ( unless otherwise stated above) and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 24th. day of May 1924. and on the:.31st, day of May 1924 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune in said City, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10:00 A.M.. on the 10th. day of June 1924• The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. 12, Hearing -had on. Hearing had on Resolution for pavement on alle West of Michigan St, from Garst Street to Stull Streeto under Improv me'nt Reso ution- No,.. IN the above matter a written remonstrance was filed. The BoArd after hearing all interested parties, hereby continued said hearing until Wednesday May 28th.,1924. at 7:15 P.M. Hearing had on Resolution for grade, curb and walk oh Dorothy Street from Prairie Avenue to West,Ewing Avenue, Under Improveme t Resolution No. In the above matter remonstrators appeared4anc{ theBard after hearing all Interested parties hereby continue said hearing until Wednesday June 4,th., 1924 at 715 P.M. Hearing had on resolution for grade, curb and walk on Wall Street from 29th. Street to the lst. alley east thereof and from alley between 34th. Street and 35th, Street east to Logan Street. Resmonstrators appeared and the Board after hearing all interested parties present hereby rescind said improvement. Be It Resolved by the Board -.of Public Works of the City of South Bend, St, Joseph.,County, State of Indiana, that it is dgsired and deemed necessary to improve the alley be-tween Portage Avenue -end Ashland Avenue from Rex Street to Portage Court as follows, to -wits- -Said alley shall be graded<and the :roadway thereof shall be paved; also the roadway of certain portions of the streets -and alleys which enter or intersect said alley shallg,t graded and paved.
