Board met in special .session at 9:00 A.M. L. B. S1Augh-ter, President,
absent. L. P. Hardy, Vice President, Acting President.
This being date set for deferred hearing on Resolution No. 4 for Grade.
Se airation of New York Central Railroad, Attruey Buczkswski aPpeared and presented
petition -for property owners requesting change in Resolution. No o ,6her interested
parties were present. Hearing continued until Wednesday, AP-RIL 9.L IL924 at 9:00 A.M.

Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M: L. B. SLAUGHTER, President,
Absent. L. P. HARPDy, Vice President, Acting President.
Petitition filed and approved for sewer and pavement an Robertson Street
from Lincoln Way East to New York Central tracks, property owners appearing and re-
questing both improvements.
Hearing had an Improvement Resolution No. 1327 for Pipe Sewer on Poland
Street from Meade Street to Olive Street in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Upon said hearing no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance
was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits
to property liable to be assessed for said improvementare equal to the estimated
cost ofthe same, as reported by the Mity Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final
action on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things
ratified, cafifirmed and approved.
Resolved further, that notices be published on the 30th day of April,
1924 and on the 7th"; day o f '1�tsy'r,, 1924 in the Sough Bend News Times and South b� ;,.d
Tribune in said Civyl stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction
d7f said improvement up to 10:00.A.M. on the 20th day of May, 1924. THE Board reserves
the right iyo reject any and all bids. .

STreet between Broadway and Pennsylvania Avenue vacated. No action ctionwas taken ,
Hearing had on Resolution No. 1324 _ oR Sewer on Broadway from the manhole
at East end of tho Broadway sewer to the first iihey west of Miami Street. Irwin
-Jackson appeared 4nd remonstrated against sewer for the reasen he wioufi not be ben-
efitted because of being unable to build on back of lots. Hearing deferred until
Wednesday, April 9, 1924 At 7:15 P.M.
