line of Sample Street in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was
filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to
property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost
of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action
on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things ratified,

Upon said hearing Dr. Charles Stotlz appeared and requested the Board to
save if possible a certain tree in front of his premises. No written. remonstrance
was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits
to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated. cost
of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action
on said resolution as originally adopted and the same is hereby in all things ratified;
confirmed and approved.
Resolved further, that notices be published on the 27th day of March$
1924 and on the 3rd day of April, 1924 in the South Bend News Times and South Bend
Tribune in said City, statin6 that this Board will receive bids for the construction

and McPherson Street from Fisher Street to Sample Street, under Improvement
Resolution No. 1289.
In the above matter remonstrators appeared and requested that all
streets as mentioned in resolution be paved from end to end. The Board after
due consideration modified said resolution by omitting McPherson Street, and
the Board being fully.advised in the premises; decides that, the benefits to
property liable to be assessed fro said improvement are equal to the estimated
Cost, of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and there�Dpon takes
final action on said resolution as modified and the same is hereby in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved as modified.

or until May 10th., 1924 nd May 17th.9 1924 in the Sough Bend News Times and
Tribune and stating that, this Board will receive bids for the construction of
said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 27th., 1924. The Board ` reserves

Hearing had on improvement Resolution No; 1294 for the pavement
on Dunaham Street from Uhapin Street to McPherson Street also Laurel Street,
and McPherson Street from Dunham Street to lgisher Street, in the City of South
Bend, Indiana.
Upon.'_sai.dihear.-Ing :remonstrators appeared and upon City Attorney's
opinion :;t., eims decided ,,o clfminate the paving of McPherson Street from Duaham
Street to Fisher Street and saidresolution so modified. The Board being fully
advised in the Premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be
assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, as
reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said
resolution as modified and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved as modified.
Resolved furthers that notices be published on the loth, day of
May'1924 and on the 17th. day of May 1924 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune
stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of laid improve-
ment up to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 27th., 1924. The Board reserves the right to
reject any and all bids. .

were filed, The Board after hearing all interested parties presented rescinded
all action on said above mentioned resolutions. .
Hearing had on improvement Resolution No. 1315 for the grade curb
and walk on Pulaski Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie Avenue, in the City of
South Bend, Indiana.
upon said hearing remonstrators appeared and stated that the.
property owners did not want a grade, curb and walk inly wanted grade established
so all action on said resolution is hereby rescinded.
Hearing --had on improvement Reslution No. 1311 for the grade, curb
and walk on Swygart Avenue from Prairie Avenue to Ewing Svenue, in the City of
South Bend, IndiAne.
Upin said hearing remonstrators appaed but no written remonstrance
was filed. The Board ther0ore decide to eliminate sidewalk on west side of
'Swygart Avenue from Ewing Avenue to Warren Street and the Board being fully
advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liabel to be
assessed for said improvement are equal to the estinnted cost of the same, as re
ported by the City Civil Engineer , and thereupon takes inal action on said
resolution as modified, and the same is hereby in all things ratified, eonfie9d
and approved.

In the above muter no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance
was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed March
12th., 1924 is benefit -Led in the amounts as shown on said roll, and the Board further find
that the assessment roll filed March 12th., 1924 and the final estimate allowed March 12th.
1924 and should be.and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
