(Lincoln Hwy) to southwest corner of US31/US20 Interchange for approximate 5500 feet. Perform necessary geotechnical investigations and obtain necessary permits to facilitate sanitary sewer construction. Right of Way engineering and Acquisition, pump station design will be undertaken if necessary and upon City's authorization. EXHIBIT B — Owner's Responsibilities S. C2.01 Compensation for Basic Services (other than Resident Project Representative) - Lump Sum Method of Payment A. Owner shall pay Engineer... Representative, if any, as follows: 1. Any additional pothole beyond a maximum of 4 potholes will incur $2200/ pothole plus $1000 maintenance of traffic fee up to a maximum of 4 potholes estimated to be completed each day. B. Period of Service: The compensation amount stipulated in Compensation Packet BC -I is conditioned on a period of service not exceeding 3 9 months. Klosinski, Assistant City Engineer SUBJECT: Agenda Request Form — Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Airport Annexation Area Sanitary Sewer Extension Design DATE: March 19, 2018 The Department of Community Investment and Division of Engineering request the Board of Public Works approval of an Amendment to an existing Professional Services Agreement with A&Z Engineering (Fort Wayne, IN) to provide additional engineering services. This scope of work includes the design of the sanitary sewer from the southwest quadrant of the US 201 US 31 Bypass Interchange west of the South Bend International Airport to the US 20 I Poppy Road sanitary sewer pump station, geotechnical investigation and utility location. Background and Purpose The Department of Community Investment has been working with the Department of Public Works Division of Engineering to assist with planning and scoping an extension of sanitary sewer services west of the South Bend Regional Airport to provide services to a potential, future development south of US 20 between Pine Road and Olive Road. This planning effort requires a verification of existing facilities, topographic features, right-of- way, and elevation data to provide adequate information for sanitary sewers and water main route planning. The extents of the survey extend west of Poppy Road (nearest sanitary pump station) and east to the US 201 US 31 Bypass Interchange (St. Joseph Valley Parkway). The original contract included funding sources for the survey appropriated from the 2017 TIF River West —Airport Account (324-1050-460-31-02, $50,000) and Engineering Professional Services Account (101-0608-431-31-06, $3,850). Total amount for the survey work is $53,850.00. The additional services ($53,550.00) are from the 2018 TIF River West — Engineering Account (324-1050-460-31-02).
