All members present. -Hearing had on assessment rolls and final estimates'for grade, and sidewalks on Beverly Place, Hollywood Plaee,'Berkley Place, Woodlawn Blvd. Inglea. In ood-Plad,09 Parkview Place, south side of Oakwood. Blvd. all in.Woodlawn Additi Addition under Improvement Resolution No. 1206. Grade, curb and vslk on North Shore Drive, Marquette Avenue, Parkovash Avenue all in North Shore Terraoe IDirst'Addition under Improvement Resolution No. 1230. _ In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written retmonstranoo was riled. Thd Board therefore find that the property asss sod in said rolls filed January 8th.,.1924 is benefitted in the amounts as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed.January 8th, and the final estimate allowed January 8th., 1924 should be and the same are hereby in all .things ratified, confirmed and approv*da .Hearing had on assessment rolls and final estimates as follows: Resurfacing of pavement on Eddy Street with Mexican Sheet Asphalt from La Salle Avenue to north line of South Bend Avenue, under Improvement ReSolutioz No. 1104. Property owner appeared about assessment on private alley. Same deferred one week or. until January 23rd., 1924 to be 000reeted by City Engineer. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estiTA to for pipe sewer on Rogers Street from Olive Street to Johnson Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1236. In the City of South Bend, Indians. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and as written remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed December 19th.9 1924 is bensfitted in the am►ounta as shown on said roll and the Beard further find that the assessment roll filed'Ddeomber 19th.9 1924 and the final estimate allowed December 19th., 1924 should 'fie and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board duly appointed F. Earle Keene as Deputy Street Commissioner effective from January 16th., 1924 at salary of #150.00 per month. Telephone to be furnished and paid for by Mr. Keen*. Same agreed to by,Mr. Keene. Excavation bond of $19000.oO of Albert De Lee approved. Petition received read end referred to the Pole and Wire Inspector for light on Lincoln Way Wei at the City limits and Nancy Street. Inspector recommended theft a 100 Watt light be placed on a must arts on the pole now at the north line` of the house at 1616 Florins Court.
