The Board approved the appointment of Miss Mary tgan as assistant clerk
of the Board to replace Mrs. Helen Bradfield. Same to be effective March lat. , 1928.

WEDNESD AY EVENING FEBRUARY 8th., I928.
Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. Y. n`r. H. G. Wray absent.
This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assessment roll
for the grade, curb and vralk improvement on Chicago Street from Divisloh Street to
Jefferson Blvd., under Improvement Resolution No.I829. In the above named assessment
roll the Board decides to continue hearing on same until A-tril Ilth., 1928.
The Board approved the insurance polic of20,000.00 to replace cancelled
policy of the same amount covering City Hall and ire Stations under General form.

Pavement on College street from the norht line of Elwood avenue to the north
line of Keller atreet under Improvement Resolution No.I983.
Pavement and sewer improvement in oodlawn '''econd addition under -improvement

In all of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrators appeared1l
and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the
premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be
assessed for said improvements, will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reporte
by the City Ehgineer. The Board, therefore, to es final action onsaid improvement lj
11 resolutions and declares spume in all things ratified, confimmed and approved w thout 1.
modification.

The Board approved the following ea.catrati on bonds:
Excavation bond of Thillman Bros., forI,000.00 signed by the Central
6urety and Insurance Co.
Excavation Bondof Phillip Cohen for $I,000.00 signed by the 1etropolitan
Casualty Insurance Co.
Claims amounting to 822.5I for salaries in the Building A'epartment signed
and approved.
The Board approved the purchase of new files for the pity Clerks office
i at a cost of $485.00t delivered and placed by the Book P'hPp.
