This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
sidewalk improvement on Sample Street between 11alnut and Chapin Street under Improvemen
Resolution No.I938.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no writte
remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that
the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been
benefited in the amounts named on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes
final action on said assessment roll, declaring same in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved and the prodeedings closed. The Board now_ ordered said assessment roll
delivered to the Department of Finance.
The Board approved the following bonds;
'i Guarantee Bond of I. `'l. Staples for the Randolph Hoke Sewer System under
Improvement Resolution No.I773. The bond being for $2,281.69 signed by the Commercial
Casualty Insurance Co.
guarantee Bond of I. 'vl. Staples for the sewer in Do3lald Street under Impro-
vement Resolution No.I798. The bond being for $583.35 signed by the Commercial Casualt,
i� Insurance Co.
accavation Bond of D. C. St. Clair for :�I,000.00 signed by the ployers
Liability Assurance Corp.
The Board approved the driveway for filling station at the corner of Indi
1ivenue and Prairie Avenue.
Upon the recommendation of '`'m. F. :,malls, the Board approved the installa-
tion of a I000 lumen light, radial reflector, bracket construction, overhead wires,
at the corner of 27th. , Street and North aide Blvd., at a cost of 22.00 per year.
Upon the recommendation of Vim. F. walls, the Board approved the installati n
of the following street lights:
I000 lumen light, at the corner of Kaley Street and Poland litreet at a cost;i
of 22.00 _per year. j
I000 lumen light at the corner of Kaley and Grace Otreet at a cost of 22.00
der year.
4000 lumen light at the corner of Kaley and yyashington 6treet at a cost
of $45.00 per year.
1000 lumen light at Sample Street and alley between Kosciuszko Street and
Harris Street at a cost of $22.00. 1
The Board instructed cleric to notify the Johnson Yotor Wheel Co., at the
Waukegan Illinois plant to remove temporary building located in the alley in the rear
of their Sample Street propertyq according to the agreement entered into July 27th. ,
1926.
