The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of -the Rieth Riley Con- 1
struction Company for the pavement on Colfax Avenue from .Fddy Street to Sunnyside Avenn6
under Improvement Resolution No.1715. Bond .for tI, 66I.75 si geed by - the Southern surety;;
Company.
The Board approved the renewal bond for Oheeter J. Niesgodski
for excavation in the amount of $I,000.00 signed by the Metropolitan Casualty rnsurancei
Company of N w York.
The,Board approved the renewal certificate of the Aslin Plumbing
Company in the amount of $I,000.00 sogned by the American lnrety Co.
The Board signed the contract with C. Reesh for the construct
ion of,a sewer in Robinson Otreet from the 41outheast Trunk Sewer, to the New York Central.
R. R. under Improvement Resolution No.I974, in the amount of $I,272.76. The Board also)
approved the construction bon of same for 100% of the contract price signed by the Meti.
ropolitan Casualty Insurance o.
The Board signed the contract with C. E. ' Reesh for the construct
ion of,:a sewer in tckman street between the west line of Lingberigh Park Addition and
Miami 1treet under Improvement Resolution No.I973, in the a::ount of 1,064.00. The
Board also approved the construction bond of same for I00% of the contract price signed
by the Metropolitan Casualty and Insurance Oo.
The Board apprqved the sales of the following hTuses and
other buildings located on Kline, Pox, valvert, Bowman, and Lincoln Wayast:
House at 1460 Lincoln W� Fast sold to J. H. Kelsey at $I175.01
House at I62I S. Kline treet sold to W. 0. Henry at $1.,000.00
House at 1501 E. Yox Street sold to Dr. Henry Vitou at 0400.00.
House at I502 E. Clave rt Street sold to Burt Queer at 0400.00.
House at 1502 ". Fox Street sold to 1. K. McHenry at $350.00ro
Garage at I502 E. Fox Street sold to W. K. PYieHenry $13.50.
House at I502 E. Bowman Street sold to W� J. Roubseland at 261

Garage at IGI3 S. Kline Street sold to L. E`. Weber at 39.75..
The Board signed the certificates of sales on all of the above
and ordered the clerk to mail same to purchasers.
The Board of appraitors, Edward Pfeiffer, J. s. Kelsey and. 1
David O filed their written report in thematter of the relocation of Ohio and
Marietta Streets in connection with the track elevation at these points. The report
shows that -none of the surrounding property is benefited in any way by this relocation
of streets.
City Engineer, Mr. H. G. 'dray, filed the following assessment
rolls:

In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby
orders that on the 4th.. , day of January, 1928, this Board grill meet in their office in
the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
property has been assessed for saidimprovements and will decidee whether the several
lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvements have been or will -be
benefited in the amounts named on said assessment rolls or in a greater or less sum than
that named on said.rolls.. The Board furkher orders that notices of said hearings shall'i.
be published on the 30th. , day of December'and on the 3Ist. , day of December 1927, in
the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law.

In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders that

' at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has

of land primarily assessed for said improvements bave been or will be benefited in the

'Maim amounting to 84,312.94 for the city1s share of Track Elevation work
signed and approved. The Board hereby orders City Controller to pay same.
