Assessment roll for the pavement ' on Kendall Street from Indiana Ave. , to T. H. & L. R. R. under Improvement Resolution No.I908. In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders that on the 23rd., day of November, I927, this Board willmeet in the office. of the Board at 7-15 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for sal.d improvements have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment rolls or in a great or less sum that that named on said rolls. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the I8th. , day of November and on the I9th. , day of November, I927, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. All members present. approvedMinutes of meetings held November I5th., and I6th., 1927, read and . rolls: This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assessmen Assessment roll for the pavement of Division Street from Parry Street to Eddy Street under Improvement Resolution No.I9I3. Assessment roll for the pavement of Parry street from Division Street to the fifth alley south of Division 6treet under Improvement Resolution No.I897. In both of the above named assessment rolls, remonstrators appeared b t no written remonstrance was filed. The Board, being fully advised in the premises, find that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvements, have been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment rolls. The Board, therefore; tak s final action on said assessment rolls and declares same in all things ratified, confirmel and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department 'of Finanee. 11, The Board signed the contract with the Williston Construction Co., h for the pavement of McKinley Avenue from -the east line of Greenlawn Avenue to the west ji line of Twenty -Second Street under Improvement Resolution No.I923. The amount of the contract being $23,359.95 and the construction bond for 50% of the contract price was signed .by Inland Bonding Co., and approved by the Board. I i I� Upon the recommendation of Vim. F. Qualls, the Board approved the �I installation of a 40OPlumen light at the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Harriett Stree# at a cost of $45.00 per year. Same ordered. I City Engineer, Mr. H. G. ,tray, submitted partial estimate No.I for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Brookfield Street from Hamilton Street to Wilson j Street, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and J. A. Barnes under Improvement Resolution No.I9I6. Board approved and si-,ned same in the amount of $8, 037. 63. The Board approved acontractors bond of "�I,000.00 in'favor of Hay - Weaver Co., signed by American surety Co. Vay r, filed primary assessment roll for the pavement on Harris Street from Division Jtreet to Ford Street Zander Improvement Resolution No.I927. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the 30�h. , day of November, I927, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. TT., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said assess- ment roll or in a greater or less sum than that shown on said assessment roll. Assessment roll for the pavement improvement on Howard Street from South Bend Avenue to the west line of Morey's aub. , under Improvement Resolution No.I889. Assessment roll for the pavement improvement of Liston street from Birdsel; Street fo Adams Street under Improvement Resolution No.I925. Assessment roll for the widening and pavement of Blain Street from the South curb line of ayne to the north curb line of Division atreet =--under Improvement Resolution No.1867. In all of the above named assessment roll remonstrators appeared but no i,rritten remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment rolls. The Board, therefor takes final action on said assessment rolls, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessmen rolls delivered to the Department of Finance. City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Nraty, submitted the following tabulations of bids:�l i
