Bids having been received for the construction of grade,curb and
walk on Washington Street, Nineteenth and Wilson Street under Improvement Resolution
No.I932, the Board this 7th.., day of September, 1927, hereby awards the contract for
said improvement to Carl E. Zimmer at his low bid.
The Board signed the contract with the Albert Construction Co.,
for the pavement on Howard Street from South Bend Avenue to west line of Morey's Sub.,
under Improvement Resolution No.I889. Board also approved the construction bond of
same signed by Inland Bonding Co., for 6,474.40, which is 50% of the contract price
of same.
The Board signed the contract with Rieth Riley Construction Co.,
for the pavement on 26th., Street from Jefferson Blvd., to Mishawaka Avenue under
Improvement Resolution No.I866. Board also approved the construction bond of same
signed by Southern Surety Co., for I9,278.00, which is 50� of the contract price of

the construction of street improvements according to law. Whereupon the Board opened
