estimate and the Board adopted a resolution for the construction of grade, curb and wa
on Olive Street from Bergan Street to Filson Street under Improvement Resolution No,
I872.
In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the 29th., day
of June, I927, this Board will meet in the office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Y_., to
hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whos e property is liable to be assessed
for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the property liable to
be assessed for said improvement -:ill be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported
by the City Engineer. Board further orders that anti ces of said hearing shall be publish-
ed on the IOth. , day of June and on the I7th. , day of June I927, in the mouth Bend .News
Times and Tribune and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law.
City .Engineer, F-_r. H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimates
and the Board adopted the following Improvement Resolutions:
Improvement Resolution No.I868 for the construction of grade, curb and
walk on Ridgedale Road from Twyckenham give to the eatit line of Lots 174 and 175 Ridge -
dale Fourth Addition. Also Avondale Road from Twyckenham Drive to Ridgedale Road. Also
Ridge -Road from the north line of lots II3 and 177 to the South line of lots I7I and 179,
Improvement Resolution No.I869 for the construction of grade and cur
on Garland Road^from Ridgedale Road to the east line of lots 172 and I73, also Itrelane
Road from Ridgedale Road to the South end of said Trela ne Road.
Improvement Resolution No.I870 for the construction of pavement of
Twyckenham Drive from the North line of Lots 109 and II0 to the North line of A. R.
Erskine's Twyckehham Park. Also Woodside Street from the end of the present pavement
near Twyckenham Drive to the east line of lots 176 and I77. Also Avondale Road from
Twyckenham Drive to Ridgedale Road,. Also Ridgedale Road from Miami Street to the
east line of lots I74 and I75. Also Harland Rodd from Ridgedale Road to east line of
lots 172 and 173. Also Trelane Road from Ridgedale Road to the South end of said Tre;
Road. Also Ridge0i.Read from the north of lots II3 and I77 to the south line of lots
M and 172.
Improvement resolution No.I87I for the construction of a local sewer
along Ridge Road from Ridgedale Road to Oouth line of Lots I7I and I72; Garland Road
from Ridgedale Road to South line of Lot I46; Garland Road from Ridge Road to westerly
line of Lot 170 and Trelane Road from Ridge Road to North line of Lot I45. All in
Ridgedale Fourth Addition.
In all of the above named improvement reso lutinns, the property
ov.ners waived all objections on and in defense to any defect in said proceedings and
to any violation in proceed -are for the construction of street improvements as fixed by

Bids having been received for the construction of pavement on McKinley
Avenye from the east line of Sunnyside Avenue to the east line of Greenlailm Avenue
under Improvement resolution No.I863, the Board this 8th., day of Junes 1927, hereby
awards the contract for said improvement to the 67illiston Construction Co., at their
low bid of $37,808.75. The above improvement having been waived, the Board makes
the final order for sheet asphalt as the type of pavement with which said street shall
be improved.

the first alley east of Vlalnut Street from Division Street to Napier Street under
Improvement Resolution No.I857. Board ap rovddthhe construction bond for same in the

Contract with Alex Bukowski for the construction of concrete pavement on
Hoose Court from Scott Street to Chapin Street under Improvement Resolution No.I8II.
Board approved the construction bond for same in the amount of 2,233.02 signed by the
United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co., of T-a.ryland.
Contract with the Albert Construction Co. , or the construction of sheet
asphalt pavement on Division Street from East line of `hicago Street to the east line
of Belleville Third Unit under Improvement Resolution No.I803. Board approved the
construction bond for same in the amount of 3,231.00 signed by Inland Bonding o.
Contract with the Albert Construction Co., for the construction of sheet
i asphalt pavement on Ford Street from Olive Street to Daley Street under Improvement
resolution No.I807. Board approved the construction bond for same in the amount of
II,796.52 signed by Inland Bonding Co.
Contract with the Albert Construction Co., for the construction of pavement
on Sheridan Avenue from South line of Ist., alley south of Division Street to a point
• 82 feet South under Improvement Resolution No.I806. Board approved the construction
bond for same in the amount of 1,I24.20 signed by the Inland Bonding o.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
pipe sewer on Donmoyer Avenue from Michigan Street to Fellows Street under Improvement

Resolution NO.I756. In the above matter, no rem nstrator s appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed, and the Board being AU advised in the premises, finds that j
the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land which have been assessed on said
roll for said improvement are equal to the amounts set opposite each lot1r.on the
primary assessment roll and therefore the`Board `declares said assessment roll in all
things ratified, confirmed and approve' without modification. The Board now orders
said roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assess—
ment rolls:
Assessment roll for the vacation of the alley north of Bartlett
Street from W? line of Main Street to the east line of Ist. , alley west of Main Street
under t Resolution No.I80I.
Assessment roll for the vacation of the alley west . of Ylain' Street
from the South line of Foote Street to the North line of Ist. , alley south of Foote St. ,
under �t Resolution No.I800.
In both of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators
appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the. Board being fully advised in
the premises, finds that the several lots and �a.rcels If land primarily assessed for
said vacations, have been benefited in the amounts shoiim on said assessment rolls. The
Board, therefore, decides to sustain 'all former action taken on said assessment rolls
and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings
closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department of
Finance.
City Engineer, IVir. H. G. Wray, filed .primary assessment roll for
the construction of a local sewer on Fairview, Irvington, 11ckman and Marine 6treets
under Improvement resolution No.I784. In the above matter,; the Board hereby orders -
that on the I4th., day of June, 1927, the Board will meet at the office in the City Hall
at 10:00 A Mop to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has
been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and: parcels
of land which have been assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts'
shown on said roll. Board further orders that property owners be notified according to
law.
This being the ' date set, continue hearing waSAon the construction
of a local sewer on Chalfant Street under Improvement esolution No-1790. In the above
matter, the Board hereby decides to continue hearing on same for one week or until, June
I5th.9 I927.

ments will be benefited in amounts equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by
the City Engineer and that the improvements are necessary. The Board therefore, decides!
to take final action on said resolutions and confirms without modification said improve_".

finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
for said improvements will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the
City Engineer and that these improvements are necessary. The Board therefore takes

In both of the above named resolutions, written remonstrances were
filed and several remonstrators appeared and the �oard being -ftlly advised in the
premises finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to
be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated cost of same as
reported by the City Engineer and that these improvements are necessary. The Board,
therefore, decides to over rule these remonstrances and declares said resolutions
in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The written remonstrances filed
it against said improvements handed to the City Engineer for a final check of resident
property owners.

Street to the west line of Ist. , alley East of Clinton Street.
In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-

taken on same. The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners
or holders of property or of valuable interests therein sought to be or to be

Bids having been received for .the pavement of Lincoln day Vilest from
Cottage Groue -venue to Wilber Street under Improvement Resolution No.I8I4, the Board
this 8th. , day of June, I927, hereby makes a preliminary order for sheet asphalt as
i the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and set the 2Ist., day
of June, 1927, as the time 1,,rhen said Board shall either pass on petitions for a chang
of type of pavement other than. that specified inthe preliminary order, award the con-
tract or reject all bids. The preliminary order is for sheet asphalt pavement with
I%etropolitan brick in car tracks and with the street closed to traffic during the
time of construction,
