Staples, signed by the I American Surety Co., Contractors bond of 1 000.00 in favor of Schuyler Ackerman, signed by the American Surety Co. • The Board signed the contract and approved the construction bond for the Northern Indiana Construction Co., for the construction of the sewer on Lincoln V-1-st from LaSalle Avenue to the Trunk Sewer on Taylor Street -under Improvement Resolution No.1705. The construction bond of 1 0 0 % of the contract price signed by the Northern Indiana Indemnity Co,, for 07,067.88. City Ingineer, 1-r. H. G. gray, submitted partial estimate No.2 for the pipe sewer improvement on Sherman -Avenue under Improvement resolution No.177I, accord- ing to the terms of the contract be,,ween the Cit� and John F. Hipskind, contractor. Board approved and signed same in the amount of 01,862.70. City Engineer, H. G. This being the da''e set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the construction of sheet asphalt pavement on O'Brien Street from Elwood Street to Keller Street under Improvement Resolution No.I747. In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land which have been assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said roll. The Board therefore, takes final action on said assessment roll, and declares same in all things ratified, con- firmed and approved. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the department of Finance. This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the construction of grade, curb and walk on O'Brien Street from the N.L. of Ellwo Avenue to the S.L. of Keller Street; also Bulla Street and S.A Keller Street froll the alley E. of O'Brien Street to alley W. of O'Brien Street under Improvement Resolu ti on No.I745. In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land which have been assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment roll, The Board, therefo. takes final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. City Engineer, Mir. H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the Board adopted the following improvement resolutions: Improvement Resolution No.I860 for the pavement of O'Brien Stree from Lincoln Way vest to Vassar Street. Improvement Resolution No.I86I for the pavement of Sancome Av from LaPorte Avenue to Lincoln Nay West. Improvement Resolution No.I862 for the pavement of Turnock Stre from South Bend Avenue to Corby Street. f • 0 9 19 Tuesday, May 3lst., 1927. In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board, hereby, orders that on the 22nd., day of June, I927, this Board will meet at 7-I5 P. Its., in their office in the City HaTI to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons i whose property is liable to be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether - the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal � to the estimated cost, as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders 1 that notices of said hearings`'shall be published on the 3rd. , day of June, 1927, and on the I©th., day of June, 1927, in the" South Bernd News Times and Tribune and that notices be mailed to property owners according to Law. i Bids having been received -for the pavement on Division Street from Fast line of Chicago Street to the east line of BellevilleThird.
