Minutes of meetings held April I2th., and April I3th., 1927 read and approved. City Engineer, fir. H. G. Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted the following Vacation Resolutions: Vacation Resolution No.I80I for the vacation of the alley north of Bartlett Street from Vilest line of Main Street to the Fast line of the Ist., alley West of Main Street. (See files for copy of Resolution.) Vacation Resolution No.2800 for the vacation of the alley crest of Main Street from the South line of Foote Street to the North line bf the Ist., alley South of Foote Street. ( See files for copy of Resolution.) Vacation Resolution No.I809 for the Vacation- of alleys in LaSalle Park. (See files for copy of Resolution.) Vacation Resolution No.I8I0 for -the Vacation of alleys in Lincoln Park. (See files fnr copy of Resolution.) In all of the above Vacation Resolutions the Board hereby orders that on the IIth. , day of May, 1927, at 7-I5 P. M. , this Board, at it's office in the'. City Hall, will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected by said Vacation Resolutions. Board further orders that notices of said hearings be published on the 23rd., day of April and on the 30th. , day of April,. I927, in the South Bend Tribune and News Times, according to law. City Engineer, 11r. H. G. Wray, filed plans anal the Board adopted a resolution for the widening of Kline Street from Calvert Street to Ewing Avenue under' Condemnation Resolution No.1799# (See files for c opu of Resolution.) In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the Ilth., day of April, 1927, at 7-I5 P. M., this Board will meet at it's office in the City Hall to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected by said condemnation resolution. Board further orders that notices of said hearing be published on the 23rd., day of April and on the 30th., day of April, 192% in the South B#nd Tribune and News Times according to law. The Board approv=d the contractors Bond of-I,000.00 in behalf of Scope Bros., signed by The Fidelity and Casualty Co., of New York. The Board approved the contractors bond of $I,000.00 in behalf of Michael Tomaszewski signed by Michael Hazinski and Charles Korpal, both resident i Freehold Surities. The Board approved the renewal certificate of Contractors Bond. of $I,000.00 in behalf of Geo. McNabbq Plumber, signed by American Surety Co., of New York. The Board signed the contract with Harry N. B rnes for the construct- ion of grade, curb and walk on Jacob Street, Madison Street, edar Street and diner Street under Improvement Resolution No.I797. The Board also_ approved the''eonstructio bond on this contract, the bond being for 100% of theeontract price or $7,051655 signed by the New York IndemnityCo. All members present. ment resolutions: This being the date set, hearings were had on the following.Improve- Local sewer on Altgeld Avenue from Marine Street to the South-east Trunk Sewer under Improvement Resolution No.I788. Local sewer on Victoria Street from Miami Street to the South-east Trunk Sewer under Improvement Resolution No.I789. In both of the above named resolutions, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed. for said improvements will be benefited in the amounts equal to the estimated cost of same, as reported by the City Engineer, and also that the improvements are j necessary: Therefore, the Board, this'r.20th. , day of April, 1927, hereby declares said improvement resolutions, inall things ratified, comfirmed and approved. The Board, hereby orders, that on the IOth. , day of May,, I9271 this Board at it's office in the City Hall at I0:00 A. Y., will receive, open and read sealed proposals for the construction of a local sewer on Altgeld Avenue under Improvement resolution No.,1788 and also for the construction of a local sewer on Victoria under Improvement Resolution No.I789. Board further orders that notices of s-_,id proposals be published in the South Bend News Times and Tribune on the 23dd. , day of Aril and on the 30th. , day of Aril I927. This being the date set, he ring was had on Improvement Resolution ' No.I790 for the construction of a local sewer on Chalfant Street. In the above matter, upon a motion duly made and seconded, the I Board decides to continge hearing on the resolution until May Ilth. , I927, at 7-I5 P. RI. i This being the date, hearing was had on Vaffation Resolution No.I787 for the Vacation of the Alley lying between Lot II and Lot 12 in Kunstman and.
