Yinnt-es of meetings held February 22nd., and February 23rd., I927 read and approved. This beinsr.the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the vacation of alley betw_en lot 66 Henricks and Grants Addition and Lot IO Kent and Garrisons sub of Lot I Henricks and Grants Addition from Yarion Street to North line of said lots I0 and 66 under Vacation Resolution No.I763. Upon the request of Aaron H. Huguenard,attorney, the Board decides to continue said hearing until March 8th. , 1927. City Engineer, Ilr. H. G. Wray, filed plans anal specifications and - the Board adopted a resolution for the construction of a sewer on Johnson Street from Hamilton Street to Vlilson Street and on Bergan Street from Johnson Street to Portage Avenue under Improvement resolution No.IX780. In the above matter, the Board hereby orders,.that on the 23rd., day of Ti arch, I927, this Board at it's office in the City Hall, will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose preperty is liable to be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the lots and parcles of land, which will be assessed for said improvement, will equal the estimated e c st of same as reported by the City Engineer. Board fur- ier orders that notice of sai d. hearing be -published on the 4th. , day of I4arch and on the IIth. , day of Ylarch, 1927, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune. Upon the recommendation of V m. F. Qualls, the Indiana Bell ',"'elephone Co., were given permission to extend arsection of underground conduit on Blaine Avenue to the alley south of Lincoln Way Test, as outlined in their petition of February 28th., I927. The Board approved the recommendation of 5'lm. F. Qualls for the grant ing the ,�7estern Union Telegraph Co., permission to do certain work as outlined in their'petition dated February 2Ist., I927, with the e±ception of placing a 25' foot pole at the alley intersection between I:'ichigan and Lain, 1ashington and Jefferson Street. Mr. Qualls recommends that the 1'estern Union Telegraph Co., secure a permit to install their cable terminial equipment on the wall of some building adjacent to this intersection and make distribution from a building fixture. The Board approv d Pir. aualls' recommendation and cle k instructed to advise the Western Union Telegraph Co., of this change. Board adopted plans and specifications and a resolution for lighting streets, alleys, boulevards and public places in Ridgedale Addition, calling for 33 lights. In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that sealed proposals for the above viork .rill be received by the Board up to IO A. %YT., on the ZItI.,, day of larch, I927. Board farther orders that notices of said proposals be published in the South Bend T�e�rSs Times and Tribune on the 14th, day of T-arch and on the P,13t. , duty of Yarch, I927. j City Engineer,=r. H. Romig, for the release of E�)ccavation Bond in behalf of A. E. Hipskin.d 105.00 The Board rescinds the order for the removal of the light on Oak Street at the alley east of Sherman Avenue and orde--°s same left where it is. The Board orders a I000 lumen fight at the intersection of Oak and Sherman Avenue to take care of the petition filed February 28th., 1927. All members presen This being the date set, hearingzas had on the Assessment roll for the Trunk Seaver or, Rex, Cushing and Van Buren Street under Improvement Resolution No.-I445. In the above matter, remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrance was filed and 'raving been fully advised in the premises, the Board finds that the benefits accruing to the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed are equal to the amounts set opposite said lots and parcels of land on said. primary assessment roll, over rules all remonstrances and declares said roll ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of Finance. This being; the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the pipe sewer on Kaley Street from a point 20 feet North of the south line of Lot I056 Summit Place 4th., Addition to the center line of Sample Street under Improvement resolution No.I7I9. In the above matter, upon the request of certain property oa,ners, the Board decides to continue hearing on said roll until 1,1arch I6th. , I927.. City Engineer, 'filed plans and the Board adopted a resolution for the Vacaticn of Alleys in Belleville Ist., Unit under Vacation Resolution No 7 .I 8I. In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the 23rd. ,'I day of Ylarch; 1927, this Board at it's office in the City Hall, will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all prrsons whose property will be affected by said Vacation.. Board further orders that notices of said Vacation be published on the 5th. , day of 1,'--areh, I927 and on the IM. , clay of Yareh, 1927 in the South Bend Nevis Times and Tribune. Board also orders that notices be mailed property owners of said hearing, according to law. City Engineer, I: r. 1. G. 1'1ray, filed the primary assessment roll for the construction of the sub -trunk Sewer on E4ving Avenue and Main Street under Im.oroverrent Resolution No.I543. In the above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the day of 1,1arch, 1927, this Board will meet, at it's office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. 17.9 to near and receive remonstrances from all persons Those property has been assessed for said improvement and grill decide whether the several lots and parcels of land which have been assessed, have been or will be benefited in the amounts lshotim on said roll or in a greater or less amount.
