Board met in regular session at 9 A. Y , All members present.
T."inutes of meetings held January 4th., and January 6th., i927, read and
approved.
This being the date set, bids were received, opened e.nd read for the
purchase of street signs in the Street Department:
John J., Jones bid:
Steel Sign with enamel top., like sample of "Pine Street " in lots
of 3000 or over, 45�, F. O. B. Factory.
Porcelain Fnanel sign, like R^mple of "Lippincott Blvd.," in lots of
3000 or over, 49� P. 0. B. Factory.

In the above matter the Board hereby orders that on the 26th., day of
January, I927, this Roard at it's office in the City Fall will -eet to hear and
receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been or will be affected
j by such vacation and will determine whether the parcels of land have been benefited
or damaged in the amounts as shown on said roll. Board further orders that notices
to all property owners wl-iose npmes appepr on ssid roll, be sent according to law.

The Board approved the excavation Bond of I,000.O0 for
Ernst r. Tra.ver, signed by the Columbia Casualty �o.
The Board approved .the excavation bond of I,000.0O for Morris
Briggs, signed by the globe Indemnity �o.
The Board, „pon the recori-menda_tion of rVn. FF. Qualls, ordered
the 73 1i.p�hts turned. on in Sunnymede Second. and Third Additions. Cost of these
Lights to be 30.00 each per -year or a total cost to the City of 2,I90.00 per ,year.,]
Upon the r Pcgmmerdat ion of '°'m.'. llual ls, the Roa rd ordered
the Clerk to notify the Indiana Pr Michigan electric Co., that the C.;ty now owns
the flashing red units located ^t Corby and St. T,oui.s Blvd., and also at Corby
and Niles Avenue. This will make a reduction in the operation of these lights j
from 35.00 a year to 30.00 ayear or e saving of IO.00 a year on the two lighting
units.
