Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. All members present.
This being the date set, hearings were had on the following
assessment rolls
Assessment roll for the pavement of Irvington Avenue from alley
east of Erskine Blvd., to Miami Street under Improvement resolution No.1663. j
Assessment roll for the pavement of Fairview Avenue from east
line of Studebaker Place to Miami Street under Improvement resolution No.I662,/
Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley east of Eddy
Street from Belmont Avenue to South Street under Improvement resolution No.I685..
Assessment r oll for the pavement of the alley south of Jefferson
Blvd.., from. St. Joseph Street to the alley east of St. Joseph Street under Improve-
ment resolution No.1757.
Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley between Dunham Street
and Fisher Street from "alnut Street to St. Casmir's Court under Improvement resolu-
tion No.I690. j
Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley between Portage

Avenue and Woodward venue from vukon Avenue to Angella Avenue under Improvement
resolution No.I689.
Assessment roll for the pavement of the alley between Marquette
Avenue and Ulakewa Avenue from Yichigan Street to Lafayette Street under Improvement
resolution No.I660.�
In all of the above assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared
and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the
premises, finds that the lots and parcels of land which have been assessed for
said improvements have been benefited in the amounts'as shown on said rolls and
therefore, declares said r olls, filed- November I6th. , Novembe r I7th. , and November
24th., -I926, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings
closed. Board hereby orders said rolls delivered to the Department of Finance.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
for the pavement of the f ourth alley east of Michigan Street from Ohio Street to
l'easey Street under Improvement Resolution No.I738. j
In the above matter, Yrs. Sheets,owne'r of the west 381 feet
of Lot I2 in Baker's first addition, remonstrated against her assessment of 168.47.
No other remonstrators appeared and'no written remonstrance was filed and the Board,
being fully advised in the premises, finds that the lots and parcels of land which
have been assessed for said improvement, are benefited in the amounts as shown on
said roll. The Board therefore, overrules the remonstrance against the assessment,
and dedlares said roll, filed November 16th., I926, in all things ratified, confirm-
ed and approved Pnd the proceedings closed. Board --orders said assessment roll
delivered to the Department of Finance.
This being the date set, hearig was had on the vacation resolu-
tion for the vacation of the alley between-'ldora ourt and h6binson Street from
the North ' line o_f lot 3 in k'obinson's Ist. , Addition produced west, to the south -
line of lot 58 Henry Leer's sub produced East, under Vacation Resolution No.T761.
In the above matter, property owners appeared remonstrating'
against said vacation and after hearing all persons interested in said vacation, •
the Board decides to rescind all former action on said resolution and declare same
null and void and the proceedings closed.
The Board approved the EXcpvation Bond of I,000.00 for Arthur
v: rleyer. .
The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds:
Guarantee Bond of 75.58 for the pavement of the fourth alley
east of Michigan Street from Ohio to Keasey Street under Improvement resolution
No.1738. Hoban and Roach contractors and the American 41rety Co., surety.
Guarantee Bond of 62.85 for the r avement of the alle south of

Jefferson Blvd., from St. Joseph Street to the alley east of St. Joseph treet
under Improvement resolution No.I757. Hoban and Roach Contractors and the American
Surety Co., surety. }
Guarantee Bond of 292.58 for the pavement of the alley between
Marquette Avenue and Wakewa Avenue from Michigan Street to Lafayette Street under
Improvement resolution No.I660. Hoban and Roach contractors and American Surety
Co., surety.
Guarantee Bond for the pavement of the !n11ey east of Eddy Street
from Belmont Avenue to South. Street under Improvement resolution No.I685. H. N.

Bids having been received for the construction of sewers of Frederickson
Pratt and O'Brien Streets under Improvement resolution No.I759, the Board this Ist.,
day of December, I926, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to L. F. 711'ebster
at his low bid of 2,305.80.
City Engineer, Mr. A. G. ":ray, filed plans and the -Board adopted the follow-
ing resolutions:
Vacation resolution No.I765 for the vacation of Tutt Street from East line
of Carroll Street to a point 82.5 feet north 'Testerly of the bouth East corner of lot
I2 Trm. "indersont s - subdivision.
Vacation Resolution No.I763 for the vacation of the alley between lot 66
in Henricks and Grants Addition and lot 10 in Rent and Garrisonts subdivision of lot
I in Henricks and Grants Addition, from Marion Street to the North line of said lots

P. rt., willmeet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
is affected by said vacation resolutions. Board further orders that notice of said
hearings be published on the IOth., day of D ecember and on the I7th., day of December
I926 in the News limes and 6outh Bend Tribune, aid that notices be mailed according to
law,
City Engineer, J r. H. r E"ra , submitted partial estimate No. I for the
grade, curb and walk improvement on the outh Side of Bena Court from Cleveland Avenue
to the alley west of Cleveland Avenue, under Various Street contract, in accordance
with the terms of the contract between the City and E. T. Tranberg, under Improvement
resolution No.I472. Board approved and signed same in the amount of II0.85.
City Engineer, Yr. H. G. 7.ray, filed the following assessment rolls:
Local sewer on Albert Street from S. Line of lots 523 and 452 in Belleville
3rd., Unit to the center line of alley South of Division Street under Improvement

In'the above matters, the Board hereby orders that on the 8th., day of
Lecember, I926, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Y.,
to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for
said improvements and will decide whether the lots and parcels of land so assessed for
said improvements have been or will he benefited in the amounts as shown on said rolls.
