present.
Improvement resolutions: This being the date, hearings were had on the following
Improvement Resolution No.I760 for the construction of a local
seder on Bowman Street between lyde Street and Sampson Street and Clyde Street between
Lonald Street and Calvert Street.
Improvement Resolution No.I764 for the construction of a local
sewer on queen Street from Blaine Avenue to a point I0 feet East of the Fest line of
lot I39 in Northwest Addition, third plat.
In the above matters, no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being duly advised in the premises, finds that the
benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said -improvements, are equal to the
estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer, and therefore; decides to
sustain all former. action taken in regard to the above mentioned resolutions, adopted
on the 5th. , 'day of November, I926, and declare same in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved.
The Board hereby orders that � sealed proposals for the construction •
of the above mentioned local sewers will be received, opened and read on the I4th., day
of December, I926. Notice of said proposals to be published in'the News Times and
South Bend Tribune on the 29th., day of November and on the 6th., day of December,;, I926.!
This being the date set, hearing was had on the Assessment roll
for the pavement of Fisher Street from Harris Street to 2nd., alley west of Harris
Street under Improvement resolution No.I762.
In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was -filed, and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds that {
the lots and parcels of land which are assessed for said -improvement have been benefited
in the amounts 'as shown on said roll and therefore declares said assessment roll, filed
jj November I7th., I926, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings:,
closed. Board hereby orders the assessmdnt roll delivered to the Department of Finance.;
Assistant City Engineer, Mr. R. L. Pike, filed tabulations of
rids as follows:
North 'side of Prast Street under Improvement Resolution No.I758.

Bids having been received far, the construction of sidewalk on
the North side of Prast Street from Johnson Street to 2nd., alley west of Johnson Street'
under Improvement re solution No.I758, the Board this 24th. , d ny of November, I926,
hereby awards the contract for sane to Eston Ball at his low bid of 248.00.

Assistant City F'Rgineer, Mr. R. L. Pike, filed the following assessment
rolls:
System of gas mains in. Coquillard Woods Addition Section A, under
Improvement resolution No.17I79 Coquillard Land Co., contractors, I8,5I7.00.
System of water mans in Coquillard Woods Addit ion ' Section A, under it
Improvement resolution No.1706, oquillard Land Co. , contractors, 25, 800.00.
In both of the above assessment rolls, the "Board hereby orders that on
the 30th . , day of November, 1926, at I0: 00 A M. , this Board will meat to hear and !!
receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said
Improvements.
Assistant City Engineer, Mr. R. L. Pike, filed the assessment roll for
the pavement on Fairview Avenue from East line of - Studebaker Place Addition to
Miami Street under Improvement resolution No.I662.
Inth.e above matter, the Board hereby orders that on the Ist., day
• of December, 1926, this Board, at it's office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. ]IT., will
meet to hear and receive remonstrance s from all persons whose property has been
assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the property
so assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of same. Board
further orders that notices of said hearing be published on the 29th.; day of November;
and on the 3Jth., day of November I926, in the News Times and South Bend Tribune.
