Board met in regular session -at 7-I5 P. rJ. All members present.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the construction of
a -sewer on Frederickson Street acid Prast Street from Johnson Street to-OtBrien
Street; also O'Brien Street from Prast Street to Ist., alley south of Frederickson
Street under Improvement Resolution No.I759.
In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed, and the Board being duly advised in the premises, finds
that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement, are
equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer; and therefore
declares ' said resolution, adopted on the 26th., day of October, I926, in all things "
ratified, confirmed and approved. --
Board hereby orders that 'on the 30th. , day of November, I926,
sealed_ proposals for the construction of the sewer on Frederickson Street and
Prast Street from Johnson Street to O'Brien Street; also O'Brien Street from Prast
street to the first alley south of Frederickson Street under Improvement Resolution;
No.I759. Board further orders that notices of said proposals be published on the
I9th. , day of November and on the 26th. , day of November, I926, in the News Times
and South Bend Tribune.
The Board approved the recommendation of vm. F. Qualls for the
installation of a 2500 lumen light at the corner of alley on'�Aaorris Street •
between Calvert and Ewing Avenue. Same ordered.
Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds:
Guarantee Bond on the pavement on Sunnymede Avenue from Harriett'
Street to Eighteenth Street, (now Greenlawn) under Improvement resolution-No.I594.
Bond for I,177.ZI, which is I0% of the contract -prtc&-a,signed by Inland Bonding Co.,j
for ylliston C nstruction Co.
Guarantee Bond on the pavement, grade, curb abd walk on
Sunnyside Avenue from-Sunnymede to South Street under Improvement resolution No.
I653. Bond -for 1,I03.086, which is I0% of -the contract price, signed by Inland
Bonding Co., for Williston Construction Co.
Guarantee Bond on the pavement on Twenty Second Street from
North line of McKinley Avenue to south line of lots 65 and 66 Jefferson Heights
Addition under Improvement Resolution No.1742. Bond for 670.94, which is I01 of
the contract price, signed by Inland Bonding Co., for 77illiston Construction Co.

Guarantee Bond on the pavement on Twenty Second Street from
Jefferson Blvd., to the south line of lots 65 and 66 Jefferson Heights Addition
under Improvement resolution N6.I74I. Bond -for 3,052.48, which is I0I/ of the
contract price, signed by Inland Bonding Co., for 7.illiston Construction Co.

for said improvement,. -are equal to the amounts set.: opposite said lots and parcels of land
on said primary -`.rolls, and therefore, approves the said assessment:'rolls and declares Ili
said rolls, filed November 9th. , and November I0th. , I926, om all things ratified,
confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.- Said rolls are now ordered' transmitted
to the Department of Finance.

•In the above -matters, the Board hereby orders that on the Ist., day of
December, I926, this Board, at it's office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. M., will meet
to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed
for said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the lots and pardels of
11 land are equal to the cost If same as shown on said rolls.
Board further adders that notices of said hearings be published -on the
23rdt.., day of November and the 24th., day of November, I926, in the News Times and
South Bend Tribune.

to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for
said improvements and will decide whether the lots and parcels of land assessed. for
said improvements have been benefited in the amounts shown on said rolls.

assessed for said improvement. Board further orders that notice of said hearing be
published on the 23rd., day of November and on the 24th., day of November, I926, in the
News Times and South Bend Tribune.

The Board approved the recommendation of Wm. F. walls for
the removal of the old style lights at the corner of Yonroe and Michigan and -also
at the corner of Oouch and Yichigan. This will be a saving of I30.00 a yearwhkch i
can be used to advantage in the installation of other lights in the City. ,
