In"all of the above rolls, the Board hereby orders that on
the I7th., 'day of November, .I926, in the office of the Board in the City Hall at
7-I5 P. M;, the Board will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons
whose property has been assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the
lots or parcels of land which are assessed on said rolls, are equal to the estimated
cost of same.

This being the date set, rids were received, -opened and read
for the resurfacing of Lafayette Street from -North line of alley north of -North
More Drive to south line of Marquette Avenue under Improvement resolution No.I755.
Bids as follows:

The above bids handed to City Engineer for tabulation.
The Board approved excavation bond of Emil 6promberg for
$I,000.00 signed by the Metropolitan Casualty Ins. Co.
The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds:
Pavement on Devon Circle from West line of Esther Street to
the west end of Devon ,Circle under Improvement Resolution No.I736. - Bond'for 450.62
c signed by the Albert onstruction Co., contractors and Inland Bonding Co., surety.
Pavement on Esther Street from Jefferson Blvd., to McKinley
Street under Improvement Resolution No.I693, Bond for $2,0I4.74 signed by Albert
Construction Co., contractors, and Inland Bonding Co., surety.
Pavement on Washington Street ' from Jacob Street to Esther Street
under Improvement resolution No.I687. Bond for'$I,397.98 signed by Albert Construction
Co., contractors and Inland Bonding Co., surety.
The Board approved the recommendation of. V`m. F. Qualls to
allow the Indiana Bell Telephone Co., to erect certain poles in the alley north of 4

Cedar Street, East and West of Arthur Street ' in the City of South Bend, Ind.
Board approved partial estimate No.I on Materials .in place in trench
and on materials not in place but along line of Sewer known as the South East Trunk
Sewer, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Carl D.
Traxler, contractor, under Improvement resolution No.1635. Board signed and approved
same in the amount of 53,583.85.
City Engineer; Yr. H. G. Wray, submitted a copy of the contract between
The Albert Construction Co.; and the City for the pavement of Esther Street from
Jefferson Blvd., to McKinley Street under -Improvement Resolution No.1693. Board signed
and approved s arxe in the amount of 22,432.98.
The Board approved the release of the guarantee bonds on the following
Streets:
Improvement resolution-No.855 for the pavement on Notre Dame Avenue from
Jefferson Blvd., to St. Joseph River. (Asphalt pavement. Guarantee bond expired
,!July 27th., I926.
Improvement resolution No.836 for the pavement of Ewing Avenue from
it Michigan Street to Miami Street with asphalt pavement. Guarantee bond espired July
�20th., 1926.
Improvement resolution No.925 for the'pavement with -asphalt pavement
j on Main Street from Colfax Avenue to LaSalle Avenue. Guarantee bond expired September
6th.1 1926.
Improvement resolution No.994 for the pavement on Bowman Street from Miami
Street to Studebaker Park with asphalt pavement. Guarantee bond expirad November I5th.9

Wakewa Avenue from Michigan to Lafayette Street under Improvement resolution No.1660.
Assessment roll for the paving of the 4th., Alley'sast of Michigan Street
,from Ohio to Keasey Street under Improvement resolution No.I738.
Assessment roll for the paving of alley between Dunham Street and Fisher
Street from 4alnut Street to St. Casimer's Court under Improvement resolution No.I690.
In all of the above rolls, the Board hereby orders that on the Ist., day
od December, I926, this Board at itt office in the City Ball at 7-I5 P. V., will meet
to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for
said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the property so assessed on
said rolls are equal- to the estimated cost 'of same. Board further orders that notices
of said hearings be published on the 23rd. , day of Noverber and on the 24th. , day of
November I926, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune.

v The Board approved the amended replat 'of Beyerts Second Addition
to the Cfty of South fiend Indiana, with the following Dedication:
"This plat includes all land in Beyerts 6econd Addition'to"the
City of youth Bend, Indiana, as originally platted and recorded in Plat Book No.IO at
page No.I35 of the records of said County, which lies on 'the northerly side of the
right of way of the Grand Trunk Western Railway Company. By a deed recorded in Deed
Record No.I89 at pages 464-465 of said County, the Beyer Floral Co., et al conveyed tc
said Grand Trunk Western'Railway Company a right of way thrtt said Beyerts ke6hd
Addition, and theregft•er+. the plat designated as RePlat of Beyer's Second Addition
was made and recorded in Plat Book No.I2, at page No.24 of said records of said
