Board met in regular session at .7-I5 P. PfT. All members present. This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment' roll for- the pipe'- . sewer on Cedar Street from 11% L. North Sunnyside Addition to Harriett Street under improvement resolution No.I656. In the above matter,-yr. Walter McInerny appeared in the interest of the Securities Investment Co., and the Board decides to continue hearing until October 24th.2. I926. This being the date set, hearings were had. on the. following Assessment rolls: Assessment roll for the pavement of the first alley between Monroe - Street and South Street from-Yiehigan. Street to the alley East of Mic)Aigan Street. under Improvement Resolution No.I548. Assessment roll for the pavement on Roberts Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Ruskirl Street under Improvement Resolution No.I608. In both of the above matters, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fulling advised in the premises, find `that -the lots and ra reels of land assessed on said rolls have been henefi.ted in the amounts shown on said rolls. The Board therefore, decides to sustain all former action on said . resolutions, and declares said rolls, filed October 5th., 1926, in .all 'things ratified confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. This being the date set, hearingw as had on the assessment roll for the pavement on Oakland Street from Mishawaka Avenue to Northside Boulevard under Improvement Resolution No.I66I. In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board being fully advised in the matter, finds that the lots and parcel of land assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts as shown"on said roll. Therefore, 'the Board decides to sustain all former action on - said'. resolutio and declares said roll, filed October 6th., I9263, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed, City Engineer, Mr. H. In all of the above assessment rolls, the Board hereby decides that on the-20th., day of October, I926, at 7-I5 P. M., this Board at it's office in the City Hall, will hear and receive remonstrances -from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the lots' -or parcels 'of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts as shown on said rolls. Board further. orders that notices of said hearing be published on t he 15th.., day of October and on,.: the I6th., day of October, 1926, in the News -Times and Tribune. Notices of hearing to be mailed to property owners as'previously ordered. City Engineer, Mr. H. G.111ray, filed plans and specifications and .the Board adopted the following improvement resolutions: Pavement of the first alley east of Tecumseh Avenue from Pokagon Street south and east to second alley east of Tecumseh Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.1754. Pavement on Lafayette Street -from the north line of the alley north of North Shore Drive to the south line of Marquette Avenue under Improvement i Resolution No.I755. In both of the above matters, the Board hereby orders that on the 3rd., day of Novemeber, I926, this Board at it's office in the City Hall will meet to hear and receive remonstrances fnom all persons *hose 'propsrty W:Lll-'be: affected j by said proceedings. Board further orders' that notices of said- hearing be published in the News Times and Tribune on the I5th., day of October and on the 22nd., day of 8ptober, I926, and mail notices be sent to all property owners according to law. The Board approved the following Guarantee Bonds: The Williston Construction Co., for the pavement on Wayne Street it from Hriett Street to Eighteenth Street under Improvement Resolution No.I597. �! J. I. &. R. R., under Improvement resolution No.I6I9p I,835.38. The Board approved the contractors bond for I,000.00 for Camiel VanDen'. Boire and son, signed by the zouthern Surety Co. _ The Board approved the contractors bond for $I,000.00 for William Henry House. City Engineer, Mx, H. G. Partial Estimate No, 2 for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Grant Street from Indiana Avenue to Lelaware Street in accordance with the terms of the: contract between the City and Alex Bukowski, under Improvement resolution No.I553. Board approved and signed same in the amount of 966.56. Partial Estimate No.4 for the Twenty 1,curth Street Trunk Sewer - in accordance with the terms -of the contract between the City and A. Spadoni_& Co., under Improvement Resolution No.I644. Board approved and signed same in the amount of 6,500.83. Pike, Assistant City Engineer, filed plans and specifications and the Bo and adopted the following improvement resolutions: Sewer on Donmoyer Avenue from Michigan Street to Fellows Street under Improvement Resolution No.I756. Pavement of the first alley South of Jefferson Blvd., from St. Joseph Street to the first alley East of St. Joseph Street under Improvement Resolution No.I757. In the matter of the improvement resolution No.2756 for the construction of a sewer on Donmoyer Avenue From Michigan Street to Fellows Street, the Board hereby orders that on the IOth., day of November, I926, this Board, at it's office in the City Hall will meet to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is affected by said resolution. Board further orders that notice of said hearing be published on the 22nd... day of October and on the 29th., day of October, I926,`in the News Times and South Bend Tribune. Board further orders that notices of said resolution be also given to property owners according to law. In the matter of the pavement of the first alley south. of Jefferson Blvd., from St. Joseph Street to the f irst alley East of St. Joseph °Street, the property owners waived all objections on and in defense to any defect in the proceedings -of said resolution.
