Inc.
Engineering found three items on the bid proposal by R. Yoder Construction that were corrected:
1) Unit prices were not included on the Bid Proposal Sheet.
2) There was an addition error that changed the total amount of the base bid from
$441,843.00 to $441,828.00.
3) There was a misunderstanding in listing the amount for Alternate No. 9 substitution for
Limestone in lieu of crushed oyster shells that changed the Alternate No. 9 amount total
from +$414.00 to-$5,632.00.
Engineering contacted R. Yoder Construction and has confirmed the correction of all three items
listed above, resulting in a corrected Base Bid plus Alternates 3, 4, and 9 of $445,076.00.
Engineering recommends award of a contract for $445,076.00 to the lowest responsive 1
responsible bidder, R. Yoder Construction.
The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds from the RWDA
TIFF Fund (324-1050-460-42.01).
