.1 have reviewed the bids and found them correct, though one irregularity should be noted. The
base bid' amount reported for Gibson -Lewis, LLC includes a deduction of $80,000 from the base
bid listed on the bid/proposal sheet as specified in writing on the submission envelope and
confirmed by an authorized representative of Gibson -Lewis, LLC at the Board of Public Works
Meeting during the bid opening.
I recommend award of a contract for Fire Station #9 to the lowest responsive / responsible
bidder, Ziolkowski Construction, Inc. in the amount of $ 3,652,500.00 for the Base Bid and
Alternates 2, 4, 5, 6, 14,and 15.
Sufficient funds have been has appropriated from 2018 Fire Station #9 Capital, 451-0901-422.42-
02.

acceptance of the improvement by the Engineer, the Contractors final estimate will be presented
to the Board for final Payment with one (1) copy of the Completion Affidavit and one (1) copy of
a Waiver of Lien.
