Board approved the excavation Bond of B. "' . Yumaw signed by
(I the Yetropolitan Casualty Insurance Co.

Upon the recommendation of F. Oualls, the Board a pproved
the installation of a 1000 lumen light at the north end of Burns Street. Cost 22.00
per gear.
Ass't Engineer, T;Tr. R. L. Pike, sub-itted partial e stimate
No.I for the Grade, Curb and walk improvement on T'7arren Street from. Indiana Avenue
to Prairie Avenue, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City
and !'lea Bukowski, contractor, mnder Improvement Resolution No.I554. Roard approved
same and signed in the amount of 2,306.56.
Engineer filed partial estimpte No.5 for the grading and
I� sidewalk improvement on North Shore Lrive from Parkovash Avenue to Angella avenue,
in ccordance with the terms of the contract between the City and the Highways
Improvement Co., contractors P under Improvement Resolution No.1446. Board approved
same and signed in the amount -of 3,718/22.
Board signed the contract and approved the construction
j� Bond for the Albert Construction o., to construct pavement on LeVon Circle from
Esther Street to ,".'est end of DeVon Circle under Improvement Resolution No.I736.

Addition to krdmore. The land platted is described as follows:

This being the date set, bids were re Ceived, opened and considered
for the rebuilding of the Elgin Street Sweeper.
The 1"lgin Street Sweeper was the only bidder and the bide; is I
as follows:

City Engineer filed Assessment Rolls for the pavement on
Brookfield Street under Improvement Resolution No.I620.
In the above matter, the Board hereby decides that on the 22nd.' ,
day of September, I926, in the office of the 'hoard at the Ciaty,Hh1l This Board will
hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose -property has been assessed of
said improvement and --will decide whether the lots or tracts of land on said roll have;
beer_ or will be :benefited. in the amounts as shown on said roll. Board further orders
that notices. of said hearing be published on the I6th. , day of ptember and on the
I7th., day (f September, I926 in the South Bend Tribune and Nears Zimes.

In all of the above resolutions, the Board hereby decides that on the
6th. , day of October, 1926, this Board in it's office in ,the C-*ty Hall, will hear
and receive all persons whose property will be affected by said improvements.
Board further orders that notices of said 'h.es.rin�s be published in the

day of September, I926.

Bids having been received for the sewer on Eldora Court, the Board
hereby, this I4th. , day of September, I926, -,a.kes a final order for said Improvement
and awards the contract for same to L. H. '.'-Poster at his low bid of I,244.20.
Bids having been received fro the pavement on A-lbert, Edison and Huron
Streets, the Board this 14th. , day of September, I926, he -eby makes a final order for
sheet asphalt for the type of pavement with which slid street shall be improved and
awards the contract for said improvement to the Albert Construction Co.,at their low
bid of I9,054.09. I
Board hereby orders that the hearing on the A-ssessment Roll for the
pavement on City Hell Court under Improvement Resolution No.1292 be held in the o�'fiee
of the Board in the City Hall on the 29th., day of September, I926, at"which time the
Board will determine whether the lots or parcels of land assessed on said roll }jave bee
benefited in the amounts as shown on the roll. Board further orders that notices of
said hearings be _published on the 20th., day of September, I926 and on the 21st., day
of September, I9261, in the South Send Tribune and News Times.

Board signed a contract between the City of S uth Bend and William
Krueger for the construction of a side track across the first alley west of Main Street
and the end.of Donald Street next to the Pennsylvania Railway Cots right of way from
it's connection with the track of said Penn. R. R. Company at the switch point to, over
and across the alley and Donald Street immediately west of the right of way of said
railway Co. Said Krueger agrees to maintain the end of said alley and the end of said
street in good repair ' and make the same safe at all times. Signed Vim. Krueger and
