absent.
Board signed Partial Estimate No. I for Pavement on Esther Street, Bellevue
Avenue, Ruskin Street and Hildreth Street, all in Bellevue Addition, in accor-
dance with the terms of the contract between the City and the Reith.-Riley Con-
struction Co. contractor. Under Improvement Resolution No. 1673. .Amount of
�14,402.26.
Board signed Partial Estimate No. 2 for the Grade, Curb and Walk & Sewer and
drainage system on 'ngella Avenue, Under Improvement Resolution No. 1560, in ac-
cordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Highways Improvement
Company, contractor, in the amount of $2,607.20.
Permission was granted to the.Edwards-Iron Works to enlarge the hole in the"
sidewalk in front of the V,ashington State bank, same to be used for an elevator.
Petition to place an oil tank between sidewalk and curb at 1215 N. Lafayette
Street denied.
Contractor's Bond of Thomas J. Shelley and I. F. Yiller signed and approved.
Claims amounting to $3,563.36 signed and approved.

City Engineer, Mr. H. G. Vlray, filed plans and specifications and
the Board adopted and confitmed a resolution for the construction of a. system of
Gas YRins in oquillard 7oods Addition. The Coquillard Land Co., being the sole owners
of said Addition waived all right to objecting to the manner in which said resolution
is passed.
The Coquillard Land Co., submitted bid for the construction of
the system of Gas Mains in the Coquillard ''roods Addition. Bid for said work including
the furnishing of all labour and material is I815I7. 40.
The Board signed the contract with the Coquillard Land Co., for the
construction ofsystem of Gas 10ains in Coquillard 'oods Addition at their bid of I6, 1 5I7. 0.
Board also approved construction bond for I00% of the amount of the contrac signed
by The Inland Bonding Co. 7�
Board approved the request of City Electrician, F.C. Campaigne, to
attend the National Board of Fire Underwriters Convention at Chicago, on July 23 and
24.
Board approved the recommendation of , II 'm. F. 'walls for the moving of Lamp #934 from the corner of Paris and Columbia Streets to Paris and Carroll Streets
Same ordered.
Board approved the Uontractor s Bonds as follows:
P. F. Slaterits for I,000.00.
Paul F. Jackson for I,000.00.
The Board approved the assigned of the Cori.#ract for the construction
of the Twenty- ourth Street Sewer to the A. Spadonia & Co., signed by the three members
of the firm, A. Spadoni, H. V .Arnberg and Daniel 016onnor.
