Board met in r eyu.la.r session at 7-I5 P. A". All members present.
Engineer fil.d&l.plens and specifications and the Boy-rd. adopted
the following Improvement Resolution:

water mains in Couquillard T"Vjoods addition.
The Couquillard Land Co., sole owners, signed a waiver, waiving all
rights to object to airy defect in said'-procdedings:;-
The Coqui l.lard Land Co.., by Russell Smith, submitted the following
bids for the construction of '"'ater "Sins in Couquillard Land Addition:

City Engineer filed plans and specifications and the Board adopted
the following Improvement Resolutions:
Local Sewer on Lincoln "ay 4"est from aSalle Avenue to the Trunk Sewer
on TgLylorStreet under Improvement resolution No.T705.
Local Sewer on Colfax Avenue from Eddy Street to a point thirty-five
feet lest of the Test Line of lot 32 Yuhnt s Ist. , :"%ddition under Improvement
Resolution No.I697.
In the above ratters, the Board hereby orders that on the 2eth. , day
of July I926, this Board will hear and receive all persons interested in the above
i-provement resolutions or whose property is affected by same. Notice of same
resolutions to be published on the 9th.;, c?ey of July and on the I6th. , day of July,
T926, in the News limes and South rend tribune .

In all of the above named resolutions, the Board hereby. orders- that on
the 28th. , day of July, I926, a t 7-I5 P. Tv% , this Board, at it' s office in the C ity
Fall, will hear and receive all persons interested in all of the above improvements
whose property may be affected by said proceedings. Board further orders that
notices of said hearing be published on the 9th. , day of July and onthe 16th., day
of July I926, in the 7' pws Times and South Bind Tribune.
This being the day set for the hearing on the assessment: -roll fot Pulaski
Street from _lbert Street to Prairie and Jackson Street from Calvert to Prairie
Avenue under Yacatiortn^t Resolution No. I09.
In the above matter, no remonstpa.nces were filed and no remonstrators
appeased rnd the F'oard, therefore, d6cides to sustain all former action in said
vacation and declare said roll,filed rinril I3th., in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved and the proceedings closed.
This being the date set, uea.rings were had on the following Improvement
Resolutions:
Pavement on Victoria Street from ".=ichigan Street to Fellows Street
under Improvement Resolution No.I684.
Pavement on F„irview Avenue from Yichigan to Fellows Street under
Improverent Resolution No.1683.

Improvement Resolution No. No.I682.
In a1.1 of -the above matters, no .remonstrators appeared and no
re7onstrances were filed and the Board, therefore, finds that the benefits to
I; the property liable to be assessed for said improvements, are equal to the
estimated cost as reported by the Engineer, and therefore, declares said resolu-
tions in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.

Hearing had on Colfax Avenue pavement under resolution No.168I.
There being no water on this street, Board decides -.to continue hearing until
June 30th., I926 -nd clerk instructed to advise property owners so that arrange
li ments can be made for the paying of the water mains on said street.

City Engineer, Yr. `,"'ray gave a report on the remonstrance filed
for the pavement of the alley west of Carrol_i Street between 'gilder and Paris
Street under Improvement Resolution No.I677. In so fa.r as tra_s remonstrance
I' represents the majority of property owners on abutting uron said improvement

and therefore the Board recinds action on said resol-ution.

from Twenty '%Pcond Street to Twenty-Lourth Street under 0ondemnation Resolution
TTo.I642. E. C'..Raff, representing 1 rs. '.°argaret Kilmer, appeared before the
Board and remonstrated against said roll. After due consideration, the Board
decides recind action on said roll and 'ereby orders the CitNT Engineer to make
up a new roll, all -owing property owners benefits end damages, as the case may be.
Board hereby orders that on the 28th., day of July, I92.6, at 7-I5
P. TV7., this Board will receive open, and consider sealed proposals for the the
following named resolutions:
Pavement on Fairview under Resolution Yo.I682.
Pavement on Fairview under Resolution To.I683.
j Pavement on Victoria under Resolution Wo.I684.
Board b_ereby orders that notices of said proposals be published
on the 9th., day of July and on the I6th., day of July, I926, in the South Bend
News Times and Tribune.
Board signed contract and approved the Bond of Harry N. B„rnes
for. the pavement of the Alley Fast of Lddy 6treet from Belmont to South. Street
under Improvement Resolution No.I685. Bond signed by Standard 1ccident Insurance
C 0.24 for 10014 of the amount of the contract.
Board signed contract and approved the Bond of The Albert Construction
Co., for the pavement of Campeau `'treet under Imnrovement Resolution T\To.I655.
Bond signed by the Inland Bonding C^ . , for 100 1--of the gri ount of the contract
ugaring had on the assessment roll for the condemnation of Rgsement
for South Fast Trunk Sewer System, under Condemnation Res(blution No.I643.
In the above matter, Yr. *,.ar.on Huguenard, appenrd.d for Hsrry Be,-zy
and filed a written remonstrance. T`r. Brady, being the only remonstrator, the
Board decides to sustain all former action on said roll and therefore declares
said roll filed, Yay I9th.9 I$26, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
and the proceedings closed.
