Board met in regular session. at 7-I5 P. "". All members present.
Hearing had on the following improvement resolutions:
Improvement resolution No.I66I for the pavement of Oakland Street
from Yishawaka Avenue to T\Torth.,`aide Boulevard.
Improvement Resolution r4o.I662 for the pavement of Fairview Avenue
Ifrom East Line of Studebaker Park Addition to '-'ia.mi Street.

i Improvement Resolution No.I660 for the pavement of the Alley between
j 1'arquette Avenue and 77akewa from i`ichigan Street to Lafayette Street.
In the above matters, no remonstrators appe^.red and no written
remonstrance was filed and the Board finds V-at the benefits to property liable to I
bd assdssed for said improvements, p.re equal to the estimated cost as .reported by
1the City Tngineer, and the Board decides to sustain all former action taken on
it said resolutions and dellsre same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
Roard hereby orders that on the I6th., day of June, I92.69 the
Roard will receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the Improvement of
the above named streets anal resolutions. 110tices of said proposals to be publ-ished
on. the 4th. , day of June and on the TIth.. , day of June, I926, in the Nev's Tres
and Tribune, according to law.
Hearing had on ?,.ssessnent roll for Pipe Server on Angel -la Avenue
from Irquois Street tb Lafayette Street under Improvement Resolution No.I538.

In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-,
strance was filed and the Board finds that the property so assessed in said roll,
filed Vay I9th., I92631 is benefited in the amounts as shown on said roll, and there-

fore, declares said roll in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the
proceedings closed.

Hearing had on Assessment roll for the paving of the alley between
St. Louis Blvd., and St. Peter Street from JAfferson Blvd., to ".`ashington Al,enue, under
Improvement resolution No.I546.
In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-

cancelled.

Eston Ball on his low bid of 4,8II.08.
Upon the recommendation of City Fngineer, 7,'r. TT " . G. 'ray, the
Board. awarded the contract for grade, curb anal walk on Thirtieth. Street from
Jefferson Blvd., to Grand Trunk R. R., under Improvement Resolution No.1675, to
Eston Ball on his low bid of $670.82.
Upon the recommendation of City Fnginenr, P."r. TT. G. "'ray, the
Board awarded the contract for grade, curb and walk on "'ashington ^_venue from
Fast line of Twenty second Street to 'I'. Line of Twenty Fourth Street, under Improve-
ment Resolution No.I64I, to Eston Ball on his I.ow bid of 2,504.34.
City .Engineer filed plans and specifications and the Board adopted
the following resolutions:
Resolution No.I683 for the pavement of Fairbiew Avenue from.
1!ichigan Street to Fellows Street.
Resolution N.o.I684 for the pavement of Victoria Street from Yichigan
to Fellows Street.

In the above matters, the Board hereby orders that on June 23rd.,
I926, said Board will, at it's office in. bhe City Fall,a t 7-I5 P. r'., hear and
receive all persons interested in or affected by said resolutions. Board further
orders that notices of said hertsings be published according- to law on the 4th.19
day of June and on the IIth. , dray of June, I926, in the A'evrs Times and Tribune.

the following lights:
4000 T,umen light on `iami Street so that same will illuminate
1-ilton and Yumford Court. Cost per year ``45.00. Same ordered.
I000 Lumen light in alley between_ Chapin. Street and Scott and
Division and �'onroe Street. Cost per year 22.00. Same ordered.
4000 Lumen light at the intersection of 7,ggn.olia-and-ubail. Cost
per year 45.00. Same ordered.
I000 Lumen light with red globe at C?estnut Street and N. Y. U. R. R.

Flashing Red light opposite Chapin Street entrance on the north
side of 7 ' 'ashington Street., inside the curb and mounted so that light will not be
-more than six feet above the curb level,, to denote the end of Chapin Street. Same
to be shaded on the north side so that same will not annoy the adjacent residents.
Also the same style light where Scott Street enters 'ashington
Street.

contracts to be awarded at a. later date.
Board approved the petition of ':Whitcomb and Keller for the construction
of Boulevard Lights in ,Phitcomb and Keller's Second and Thidd Su.n.nymede Addition.
Property owners to pay for the installation and fixtures and the city to supply the
current at a cost of 2,080.00 per year. Same to be effective after January Ist.,
I927.
Board met with the m.em.bers of the ?'ishawaka Board of ""or.ks and their
City Engineer, %7illiam S. Moore, regarding the pavement on Logan Street. It was
decided that this street should be paved under a joint resolution and the engineers
from both cities are instructed to work up 'a Joi_nt resolution to be adopted by h.oth
Boards at an early date.
