Hearing had on assessment Roll for ripe Sewer on Sunnymede Avenue from {
EighteenthStreet to Harriet Street, under ,mprovement Resolution y1590.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no written ren-dnto j
strances were filed. The Board, therefore, declares said roll, filed 1,11archZ5,1, 1926,
in all things ratified, confirmed and approved, and the proceedings closed. i
City Engineer signed partial estimate r9 for the Trunk Sewer improve- 11
i merit on Rex, Cushing and Van Buren Streets in accordance with the :terms of the
contract'between the City of South Bend and A. Spadoni, Contractor, under Improve -
merit Resolution �1445. Board approved same in amount of w2,813.93.
I Continued hearing had on Improvement Resolution T1634 for grade, curb i
and walk in homeland Addition. In the above matter, Board decides to confirm said
resolution with the following modification: Construction of grade, curb and walk
on 'Olive Street and Ewing Avenue and construction of walk only on Delaware, Calver
Jabash and 11'eade Streets.
• Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed proposals set for I
I�:ay 11, 1926. Board orders publication of salie to be made according to law on the
30th day of April and on the 7th day of %,Tay, 1926, in the South Bend Tribune and
News Times.
Upon the recomriiendation of :7m. F. �Lualls, Board approved the changes
of certain lights in the southern section of City, as petitioned for April 13, 1926.
This will mean an additional cost of 114.00. Sketch showing changes attached to �
recommendation.

by the Building Department, as the o;:-ners of this property agree to pave the entire
length of the alley, which 1s"165 f:et in length. They also agree to use a suitable
covering for said basement so that the alley may be used as a public thoroughfare.

be published on the 30th day" of April and on the 7th day of May. 1926, in the South
Bend Tribune and the News Times. Board at its office in the City Hall, on the eve3b-4

the Board now, this 28th day of April, 1926, makes a preliminary order for sheet
asphalt as the kind of pavement with ttrhich said street is to be improved, and
fixes the llth day of May, 1926, at 10:00 A.1-1. as the time when said Board will
either pass on petitions for changing kind of pavement, let said contract or
reject all bids. The Albert Construction Company, being the lowest bidder on "he
above improvement is hereby givena preliminary order for the improvement at their
