Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.11'. All members present.
Hearing had on following Improvement Resolutions:
Pavement an Walnut Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie .Avenue,
under Improvement Resolution-r`1616.
Pavement on Magnolia Street from Indiana Avenue to Friairie Avenue
under Improvement Resolution ff1617.
Pavement on 11eade Street from southerly rail of New York Central
R.R. to Sample Street, under Improvement Resolution -1633.
Grade, curb and walk on Twenty-second Street from south line of
Lots 65 & 66 in Jefferson Heights Addition to south line of_1KcKinley_Avenue. f;1630 1 .,
In the above matters no remonstrators appeared and no written re-
monstrances were filed, and the Board finds that the benefits to property liable
to be assessed for said improvement aree equal to the estimated cost of same as
reported by City Engineer and said resolutions are hereby ratified, confirmed and,
approved. Date for receiving, considering and opening sealed proposals fixed as
hlay 5, 1926 and notice thereof ordered published according to law.
Hearing also had on Improvement Resolution J1618 for pavement on
Broadway from Nigh Street to Iiiami Street. 'An the above .matter a remonstrance was
filed, bearing the names of eleven property owners. However, the Board.finds that
the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvment are equal to
the estimated cost of same and therefore declares said resolution in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved. Remonstrance referred to City Emgineer for his
report on the resident property owners,
Hearing also had on Improvement Resolution §1634 for grade, curb
and walk in Homeland Addition. In the above matter, 'elm. 1,114Henery appeared and re-
monstrated against the g,_raae improvement and the Board continued hearing until
April 27, 1926.
Board approved the Flat and signed the dedication for Coquillard
Moods First Addition.
FLAT OF COgUILLARD WOODS FIRST ADDITION TO TIM CITY OF SOUTH BEND
The annexed plat of Coquillard -foods to the city of South Bend,
St. Joseph County, Indiana, is a sub -division of the following described property,
towit:-
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Section 6 Township 37 North,

(center line of Harriet Street) thence south along the north and south center line
of said Section 6 a distance of eight hundred sixty0five (8651) feet to the center
line of McKinley Avenue(south line of said Section 6) thence east along the south
line of Section 6 a distance of twenty-six hundred forty-eight (26481) feet to the
southeast corner of said Section, place of beginning.
The plat contains 275 lots numbered from i to 275 inclusive. I'he
sixe of the lots and width of the Streets are as shown on the platrg marked in feet
and fractions thereof.
An easement ix reserved off of tLhd from the rear of each lot four
(41) feet wide (total width 8 feet) as a riht-of-way for public utilities in con-

dedicated for that purpose.

Township 38 North, Range 2 East, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and comprises the
following describe(? -tract of.16nd to:wit:-
Beginning at a point on the East and nest center line of Section
230 T38 N, R 2 E, 886.5 feet west of the southeast corner of the northeast of
said section, thence ;rest along said east and west center line 443.24 fee- to the ,crest
line of the eapt of the northeast s of said section, thence north 1999.45 feet,
thence east 44.3 feet, thence south 1996.6 to the ?lace of beginning.
she plat contains 71 lots numbered from 1 to 71 inclusive, and 4

The plat to conform to the South Bend, Indiana, Zoning Ordinance
§2331 adopted June 25, 1923, and shall be clas:_ified under Section 3 "Atl Residence
District; and Section 10 "A", Height and Area District.
Be it known the no dwelling costing lees that $3,500.00 shall be
constructed on hots 1 to 14 Inclusive and Lots 63 to 71 inclusive, and that no
dwelling costing less than �3,000.00 shall be construc-�ed on Lots 15 to 26 in-
clusive and Lots 51 to 62 inclusive, and that no dwelling costing less than �2,500.00
shall be constructed on lots 27 to 50 inclusive.

confirmed the following Improvement Resolutions:

This being the. date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolutio
No.I635 for the construction of the South -East Tns.
runk Sewer System.
In the above matter, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon-
strance was filed and the Board being fully advised in the premises, finds that the
benefits,to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement, are equal to
the estimated cost of same, as reported by the City Engineer, and that the improve-
ment is necessary, and that the area or district to be drained is properly bounded
and described in said Improvement Resolution No.I635 The Board, therefore, declares
said improvement resolution No.I635, in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
without modification.
The Board now orders that on the 5th. , day of May, 1926, this Board
will receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of the South-
east Trunk Sewer System under Improvement Resolution No.I635. Board further orders
j that notices of said proposals be published in the South Bend News Times and Tribune
according to law.
