Board met in regular session at 9:15 P.M. All members present.
Minutes of meetings held lUarch 30th and March 31st, 1926 read and
approved.
Upon the recommendation of IIm. F. Qualls, Board approved the following
petitions:
Placing of 4000 lumin light at corner of Pokagon Street and Tecumseh
Avenue. Name ordered.
Petition from Indiana Bell Telephone Co. for placing of four poles and
six anchors in Austin Park Addition, as indicated on accompanying blue print.
Same ordered.
The following renev,,al bonds were approved: Contractor, 11I1ex, Bukowski,
Excavation_, Distler Plg. Co.
Correspondence from Shidler Bros. regarding damage to truck on High
Street north of Pennsylvania Avenue, filed amd Cleric instructed to refer same
to Gas. Co.
Correspondence from h-lishawaka Board of Public 'dorks regarding pavement
on Logan Street read and placed of file. Clerk ordered to advise Mishawaka
Board that this Board is ready to pave sa-id Street according to plans and speci-
fication adopted by this Board.
Engineer reported tabulated bids for grade, curb and walk on Twenty-
second Street from north line of Jefferson Boulevard to south line of Lots 65
66 in Jefferson Heights Addition. Tabulation as follows. -

J. A. Barnes, being the lowest and best bidder was awarded the contract
at his price of �9,906.98. ,
board approved insurance policies covering City Hall and contents and
City Fire Stations and contents amounting to $324,000.00. Also policies of
16,000.00mand �1,000.00 for Street Department Garage and brick duelling located
at Sycamore Street and Hydraulic Avenue and at 225 id. Main Street, respectively.
Board approved bond and signed contract with Alex Bukowski for grade
curb and walk improvement in Belleville first Unit, at the price of 016,273.86.
Board approved the purchase of new typewriter desk for the Board office
at a cost of 950.00
Claims amounting to z8,061.03 as evidenced by vouchers s2134 to `2170
inclusive, signed and approved.

Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.Y. All members present.
(I Mr. H.G.Wray, City Engineer, filed plans and specifieationa and
Board adopted Resolution #1635 for trunk sewer to be known as the Southeast
Trunk Sewer System.
The Board hereby orders that notices of said resolution be pub-
lished on the 9th day of April and on the 16th day of April, 1926 in the
South Bend Tribune and the News Times.
Board, at his office in the City Hall, on ,Wednesday evening, .
April 21,1926, will hear and receive all persons interested in or affected
be said proceedings .

Board met in regular session at 9:15 A.111. All members present.
Minutes of meetings held April 6th and 7th read and approved.
Board signed contract with J. A. Barnes for grade, curb and walk on
Twentyasecond Street from north line of Jefferson Boulevard to the south line
of Lots 65 and 66 in Jefferson Heights Addition, under Improvement Resolution
Monthly report of Building Department read and placed on file.
Board approved following excavation bonds: John Turnock, Thos. 'William
and Fleck Plg. Co.
Upon recommendation of Mr. Qualls, the Board approved the change and
extension of lights as follows:
Change 1000 lumin light at St. Joseph and Fairview Avenue to 4000
j lumin light.
r Change the 1000 Jumin_,_light at Irvington Ave. and Carroll St. to a
4000 lumin Light.
Move the 1000 lumin light at Irvington'Ave and St. Joseph St. to
Eckman St. and St. oseph St.
I 1.1ove the 4000 lupin light at Eckman and Carroll Streets to Eckman
and Fellows Streets,.'
Install 4000 lumin light at 0akside and Carroll Streets and a 4000
lumin light at Woocl-side and St. Joseph Stre ets. Same ordered.
Board also.approved the petition of the Indiana & 1-Tichigan Electric
Company for permission to renew their present pole -line on Linden Avenue from
