Board met in regular session at'9'!15-A.b2: All members present.
Minutes of meeting held March 16, 1926 read and approved.
Board signed contract with Van Trump Testing Laboratory for
testing asphalt mixtures for year 1926.
Upon the recommendation of 1,11m. F. Aualls, the Board approved
the following petitions for lights:
light at the corner of Napoleon Street and St. Louis Blvd., at
a cost of 045.00 per year. Same ordered.
Light in 1300 block on Johnson Street near fire hydrant., Same
ordered, at a cost of $45 per year.
Board approved the petition dated.March 22, 1926 from Indiana
Bell -Telephone Co., for placing poles and anchors in certain districts as shown
on accompanying blue print.
j Board approved grades for the follwoing Streets:

Nilson Ave., Washington Ave., North line of Colfax Ave., South
line of Lots 65 & 66 in Jefferson Heights Addition., Southeast and southwest cor-
ner McKinley Street.
Engineer signed assessment roll for pipe sewer on Sunnymede
Avenue from 18th Street to Harriet Street under Improvement Resolution J1580.
In the above matter the Board hereby orders that property
owners be advised that said assessemtn roll was filed and final estimate allowed
and that said Board, at its office in the City Hall at 7:15 P.M. on April 14th,
1926, will hear all. -persons affected by-saicl proceedings.
Board approved the plat of Uhitcomb and Keller's Third Sunny-
mede Addition with the following dedication:
DEDICATION
The annexed plat is a plat of -Whitcomb 8c Keller's Third Sunny-
mede Addition to the.,City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, and is com-
posed of a tract of land in the Southwest Qy4rter of Section 7, Township 37 North,
Range 3 East, which tract is bounded on the north by the Grand Trunk iestern Rail-
road and on the west.by Eddy Street, on the South by Mishawaka Avenue, and on the
East by Harriet Street; excepting a tract of land sold to the School City of South
Bend, which is recorded in Deed Record 191, page 440; also except Whitcomb & Keller'''
Second Spnnymede, which is recorded in Plat Book 12, page 20;-and also except the
proposed right-of-way of the Grnd Trunk Western Railroad more fully described in
their action for Appropriation of hand in the St. oseph County Circuit Court No.21''.
Cause No. 2795.
The alley between lots 704 and 705 shall be the dividing line
between Wall Street and Emerson Street. The line between Lots 764 and 765 shall be
the dividing line between Null Street and Chester Street,
Fddyt Street has been widened ten.feet on the east side making
its total width 80 feet; Mishawaka Avenue has been widened 20 feet on the north

The annexed plat is a plat of Belleville Third Unit, an addition to the
City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, and comprises the same and identi-
cal tract of ;and heretofore platted under the name of Monroe Park, and addition
to the City of South Bend.
This plat is made for the sole purpose of renaming said addition and re-
n=bering the lots therein .

The plat contains Fou.R Hundred Forty-eight (448) lots, numbered from Three
Hundred Twenty (320) to Seven .unfired Sixty-seven (767) inclusive.
The size of the lots and the width of the streets and alleys are idLentical
with those of the plat of Monroe Park and are marked on the plat in feet and decimals'

ratified and confirmed.

Migineer filed plans and specifivations and the Board adopted the
folltawing numbered resolutions:
Resolution 7 1621 for local sewer on Jackson Street from Indiana II Avenue to Calvert Street, +
Resolution 7 1622 for local sewer on Pulaski Street from Indiana
Avenue to Calvert Street.
Resolution 7 1623 for local sewer on Laurel Street from Monroe
Street to a point 183 feet south of center line of Division Street.
Resolution 7 1624 for localmoewer on William Street between Cal-
vert Street and Ewing Avenue.
Resolution 7 1625 for local sewer on Jefferson Blvd. from center
line of Kerley -Street to:- Meade Street and Kaley Street from a point 166 feet south
of the south line of Napier Street to a point 17 feet south of the south line of
Newcome Street.
Resolution 7 1626 for local sewer on 'dashington Avenue from the
center line of Kaley to Meade Street and Kaley Street from a point 18 feet nprth
of the north line of Newcome Street to a point 30 feet south line of Colfax Ave. {

Board hereby orders that notices of the above named resolutions be
sent to property owners and that same be, published in the News Times and South
Bend Tribune on the 25th day of March 1926 and on the 1st day of April I926. The
Board, at its office in the City Hall on April.14, 1926, at 7:15 P.17., will heaf j
and receive all persons interested in or affected by said resolutions,
This being the day set for receiving bids for Street Flusher, the
one bid received from the I&nicipal Supply was opened and read, the price of 4900 II
being quoted. Same placed on file.
Claims amounting to 867.57 as evidenced by vouchers

Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present.
Hearing had on Vacation of Pulaski Street from Calvert Street
to Prairie Avenue, also Jackson Street from Calvert To Prairie Avenue.under
Vacation Resolution # 109.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and'no written
remonstrance was filed and the Board, therefore, decid.es:7to sustain all former
action and declare the above described property in all things vacated and this
resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
The Board now orders that a list er roll be prepared of all
owners or holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought of be
taken or to be injuriously or beneficially affected.
Hearing had on Set Back Lines on Division Street under Condem-
nation Resolution r 97.
In the above matter no remonstrances were filed and no remon-
strators appeared and the Board, being fully advised in the matter, sustains
all former action on said resolution and declares the above named resolution
in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
Engineer filed plans and specifications and the Board adopted
thefollwing.Improvement Resolutions.
Pavement on Walnut Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie Ave.

The Board hereby orders that notives of the above named resol-
utions be sent to property owners and publication be made in the News Times and T
