Minutes of meetings held February 16th and 17th read and approved. Board adopted resolution and filed plans for set back lines within the City Limits on Division Street from west line of Olive street westward to the North. and' South' line.`. of 'Section 9, as 'follows:. -(See files for copy) In.the above matter the Board hereby orders said Resolution published. according to law on the 5th day of March and on the 12th-day of Marchand fixes the 24th day of March as the day on which said Board will hear a14 persons inter- ested in or effected by said Resolution rr 97. Board adopted Vacation Resolution §109 and filed filed plans for vaca- tion.of Pulaski Street from Calvert Street to Prairie Ave. and also Jackson from Calvert to Prairie. Board hereby orders said resolution published according to law on the 5th day of March and on the 12th day of March and fixes the 24th day of March as the day on which Board will hear all persons interested in or effected by said resolution. Mr. R.R.Smith, representing the Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana Railway Co., appeared before the Board with a petition for the extension of the Fellows St. bus service from Michigan and Calvert Sts. east along Calvert to Kline Street, a distance of 1.4 miles. Board approved and signed petition granting this extension, as follows: South Bend, Indiana, February 23, 1926. TO THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA Gentlemen: Under an agreement between the Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana i Railway Company and the•City of :youth Bend, Indiana by and through its Board of Public Works, which was entered into on July 17, 1923, and which agreement was -- ratified by the Common Council on August 27,1923 and approved by the Mayor on August 29, 1923, the Railway Company operates a bus line from the center of Sot.th Bend to the southeast section of the city, known as the Fellows Street bus line. The residents if the southeasterly section of the city have requested a further extension of the service now rendered by the Fellows Street line, and in compliance with this -request for additional service the Railway Company propo- ses to extend this service from the corner of Michigan and Calvert Ztreets, east- erly along Calvert Street to Kline Street, a distance of 1.4 miles. The Chicago, South Bend & Northern Railway Company respectfully peti- ■ tions your Board for its approval of this extension of its Fellows Street bus line service. !
