Board met in regular session at 9 A.Lf. All. members present,
minutes of Sneetings held February 9th e� 10th read and approved.
At the request of the mayor, City Engineer pretiented a letter ad_
dressed to Sohn G. Yeagley, Attorney for the NeW York Central R. R. Co., reading
as follows:

In anst-rer to your favor of the 28th ultimo, addressed to Mayor C. R.
�ontgomery, -requesting permission for the Nel,=,, Yore Central Railroad Company to
occupy with its track elevation emban cnent a strip of land forty feet in width
north and south off of the s6-ath side of Xreighbaum 1?ar1L, this city, the same be-
ing a flirty foot strip north of and next adjacent to said rail,aay's northerly line;
along said park, permit us to say that we have duly considered the same and 1,-rish u
to advise that it is our desire 'to conform frith the promises and agreements of the!,
fo-mer administration wherever possible.
Vie Nish further to say that ire will be anxious at all times to co-oper-
ate with you and your said client -"'or the facilitation and final consumzation of
the track elevation work now in progress through this city. To this end we think
it advisable to confirm the acts Frith-eference to said occupancy 4�,hich the for-
mer administration made with you, and-Tre hereby authorize you to proceed with this'i
work in accordance with the authority given you by Ex -Mayor Seebirt and his co-
workers.

ns.Kise, City Cemeter Sexton, appeared before the Board with a re-
q-Lest to purchase a tent for use during funerals at the Cemetery, to cost about
Y10.00. Same ordered.
Report from Building Department read, approved and placed on file
Petition for dose House in River Bark filed. Same referred to new
Board of Public Safety for tr_eir approval before any definite action is taken by
this Board.
City Controller, Rudolph Ackerman, appeared before the Board with a
request from the Mayor for the purchase of ttao desks for Safety Board. Clergy in
structed to have Board of Safety specify particular type of desk necessary, so the
prices can be obtained and merchandise ordered at an early date.
Board approved the following. upon the recommendation of L1r Q�ialls
Placing of 2500 lumin lights, pendent fixtures, dust proof bowl refrae--)
tor, mast arm construction, on Doroty St. mid4ray betrreen Ewing Ave. and Prairie Ave.
Same ordered.

imously appointed to the office of Lleetrical Inspector, at a salary of 42400.00
per year, appointment to be effective February 22, 1926.
Clerk instructed to advise 11r. Champaign of his appointment and to also
advise i. A. Henry that his services with the City will cease simultaneously with
Mr. Champaign's appointment,
