Directory of the City Hall Building, the ArtCraft Sign Company's bid of �
was approved.
The petition by the Indiana & TTichigan Electric Co, for per-
mission to extend a_;pole line on vTilson Ave. from portage Ave. to I;ancy St., j
thence south along Nancy St. to Lincoln gay Jest for the purpose of extending a
distribution system for the betterment of service in this section of the city. This
approval to be subject to the aDproval of 1,11r. illiam F. Qualls, Superintendent of
Police Fire Alarm Signals. j
The matter of fillin; stations petitioning for approval of
driveway construction, the follo-�ring procedure, recommended by l5`aray, was
approved.
1 After the presentation to the Board of a building permit, issued
by the Building Department, for the construction of a filling station, the Board
j will authorize the Fngineeri_n Department to issue the permit for a driveway. �

-7he matter of the assessment of Edga-r G. and T,.7-arie L. France,
the recommendation of Tr. Fray, was a -)proved. Board ordered Clerk to notify TTr. and
,j lIrs. .France regarding this assessment.
j The appointment of j.Tr. F. Horan,,_ assistant professor of Civil
Engineering of 1otre Dame University, recur:riiended bar 1YLr-. 'gray, approves:_ by, the i
Board on the basis of _`2.50 per day of four hours.

The petition of the Indiana Bell Telephone Co. for permission
to place poles, anchors and underground conduits, as especially designated, eras
recommended by T=r. `dm. F. xualls and referred to the City .Engineer.
The petition of the Board of Safety for a ladder fire escape at
the Police Gara e referred to Cit�T Engineer.

assessments of benefits be published according to law and that a hearing Given
on February 17;1926 at the office of the Board in the City Nall for the purpose of
hearing; remonstrators and receivinG remonstrances from all person or persons inter-
ested in said matter.
The Board approved the established Grade as recommended by the
City Engineer on the folloring streets:
