The amount of S17.60 ord-ered payment for tap at Lot 32 Fischer N reimbursed to Tars. liilhelminia F ischer for sewer tap placed- by her at Lot 32 Fischer's South Siae Survey on East Calvert Street. Same to be paid out of the 11iseellaneous Fund of the Board. Check in the sun of Twenty ( 20.00) f3eceivea from Gerald McGillicuddy of Valpariso, Indiana in payment to Chester Omundson for tap placed at 1633 E. Dayton Street 4na the City Controller is hereby reouestea to release amount withheld. as per order of the Board of 1,11ay 21, 1924 as settlement having been effected._: George Pontarelli with Henry Pike his Engineer appeared before the Board and the matter of damages to John Heinzman property on 22na. Street on account of River Park Trunk serer no. 3 was discussed, and a settlement for damagesto sidewal m etc -in payment in full of claim by J . }in Heinzman was paid in the sum of 075.00, receipt for !hieh is placed on file in this 6,fj:ce. The City Controller is hereby requested to release the sum of Twenty five thousand (�25,000.00) Dollars no-r held up in his office, said released is based upon George Pontarelli depositing a check for the sum of �_13,000.00 with a contract which is to be signed and approved by the Board and- placed on file in the office of the Board until necessary repairs are made. The undersigned , New York -Central Railroad Company, being the 1lo,.ner of real estate abutting on Brook Street on the entire South side of Brook Street, respectfully petitions for the passage of a resolutio- providing for the vacation of said. To the honorable Board of Public V:orks, Gentlerzen: - I have inspected all of the locations set forth in attached p:tition and carefully considered the proposed construction work as shown on attached blue prints. I find the work, in general, has been well engineered and, when completed, will be a E improvement to the Telephone Company's property in the south-west section of the City. Not only will time -worn conditions be replaced but many of the existing poles will be en tirely removed. at t it There are a few suggestions I would like to offer that, in my judgement, will be to the advantage of both the Telephone Company.and abutting property and in ordered o bring these out I will report on each print separately. Print No. 3.0. K. as it stands. Print No. 4.I would recommend that in the alley south of Napier Street. a pole be set I on each side of the alley at the intersection.. The north pole to be used for underground cable terminal from Lwhich extend a guy cable to the south pole and then to anchor a short distance south. Otherwise 0. K. Print No. 5.I is understanding that all the existing wires on Division I my � .poles and ��ri� f� St.. gill have to be removed and all wires placed underground as soon as the 1 railroad tracics are removed and this street rebuilt. I would not recommend that additional construction �rvork be pen.-Atted in this street at this time. Print No. 7.I would suggest that arrangements be made to anchor in a t-ee on the south. side of alley at Laurel St. -d existingpole removed.
