Petition received read and placed on file for concrete sidewalks on North Liberty Street fry Division Street to Washington Avenue. Supt. of Poles and vtires reports as follows on.complaints received. Complaint about pole in way of garage in alley at rear of 1131 E. Indiana Avenue Electric Company representative to plan new location.of pole. Report approved. Complaint about pole in way of garage at 127 No. Frances Street Electric Company representative to plan new location for pole. Report approved. In re petition for light on Broo.kfi;eld Street 'from Ford Street to N. J. I. &; I. Ry. tracks. Recommend that a 100 C. P. light at Ford Street and Brookfield Street be removed and that a 400 C. P. light be located at Brookfield :street and the railroad. Approved. Communication of thanks received from E. Haix7kinson General Supt. of George Cutter Company in re distribution of lights on Portage Avenue. Approved. Waiver for sewer on Beyer Avenue from Mishawaka Avenue to the north (westerly line of lot 43 in the Replat of Beyers 2nd. Addition. Hearing had on resolution for grade, curb and walk on High Street from aving Avenue to Fairview Street, as provided in improvement Resolution No. 1590. No remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and said resolution is now confirmed. Hearing had qn resolution for pipe sewer on Beyer Avenue from°Mishawa Avenue to the northwesterly line of lot 43 in the Replat of Beyer's 2nd. Addition as provided'in improvement Resolution No, 1593. After hearing all interested parties present, board decides that the benefits to.property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board therefore now confirms the said resoluti Waiver signed waiving advertising for bids, approved and bids were hereby submitted for the construction of said sewer and are hereinafter spread on this record. Hearing had on resolution for pipe sewer on Smith Street from Olive Street to Huey Street, as provided in improvement Resolution No. 1591. After hearing all interested parties present, board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board therefore now Ij confirms the said resolution. No remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed. After hearing all inti ested parties present, board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessei for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of the same, and the Board there- fore now confirms the said resolution. Date for receiving, opening and considering sealed proposals fixed as November 24th., 1925 at 10:00 A.1% Notice thereof ordered published as required by law. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for Widening roadway and brick and Mexican Sheet asphalt pavement on Michigan Street from a point 280 feet south of the south line of Bronson Street to north curb line of Broadway, as provided in improvement Resolution No, 1451. In the above matter as remonatratorsappeared anda written remon- strance was filed. The Board after hearing all interested parties present, therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed October 27th., 1925 is benefited in the amount as shown on said roll, and the Board further find, that the assessment roll filed October 27th., 1925 and the final estimate allowed October 27th., 1925 shoul be and the same is hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved, and upon recommendation from City Engineer, the City Controller requested to withhold the sum of $1,000.00 until low places and drainage is improved to the satifaction of the City Engineewtxg. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for Mexican Sheet' asphalt pavement on Sample Street from Ely. curb line of 13rairie Avenue to west curb line of Lafayette Street under Improvement Resolution No. 1485 Filed October 27th., 1925. Atty. Strickland representing the Studebaker Corporation appeared and objected to `. number of feet assessed, said hearing continued to Tuesday November 10th., 1925 at 10:00 A.ui. Hearing had on roll of awards of damages and assessments of benefits for the Vacation of Court lying al ong the south line of South Bend '.latch Company's property from Esther Street to the alley west of 18th., Street under Vacation Resolu- tion No.101. In -.`:ter no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strance was filed.Thb. Board.therefore declare the above roll filed September 22nd., 192 is hereby in all things ratifiedg,confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.
