Lane, Chief of Police, City: Will you please remove building material from William Street between Colfax Avenue and the alley north of Colfax Avenue. Building material etc. deposited on public property at this site is an obstruction which prevents improvement of the street. By Order of Board. All members present. Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for grade, curb sand walks on Mearle Street, Anthony Street, East 2 of Goodland Avenue, Elliott Street, �/ Bonds Avenue, Hartzer Street, Prast Blvd. Frederickson Street, N. 2 of Westmoor St., Lincoln Way West, all in Lincoln Manor Addition under Improvement Resolution No. 1470. In the above matter property owners appeared and a written remonstrance was filed against Uontractor piling material on lot. After hearing all interested parties present, hearing continued until `ilednesday October 21st., 1925 at 7:15 P.M* Hearing had on assessment rolls and final estimates on thefollowing improvements: Sheet asphalt pavement on Rose Street from Portage Avenue tg Iffesslar Boulevard, also Kesslar Boulevard from South line of Lot 28 in Portage Heights Addition ✓Ito a line between Northerly corner of Lot 30 and Northeasterly corner of lot 5 in said �IAddition,_under Improvement Resolution No. 1509. Sheet asphalt pavement on Brookfield Street from Division Street to New Jersey, Indiana & Illinois Railroad Company under Improvement Resolution No. 1510, Filed September 30th., 1925. ✓ Concrete pavement on alley lying between Lots 11 and 12 Dunbar8s Sub. of B. 0. L. 31 and 32 from Colfax Avenue to alley south of Colfax Avenue, and the alley lying between lots 3 and E. 46.17 feet of lot 2 in said Dunbarts Sub. from Washing- ton Avenue to alley north of Washington Avenue from E. line of Lot 3 to W. line of lot 12 in Dunbar's Sub. under Improvement Resolution No. 1499, Filed Sept. 30,1925. Water connections on Michigan Street from a point 280 feet south of the outh line of Bronson Street to north curb line of Broadway, under Improvement Resolution o. 1477. Filed September 30,1925. `dater mains on Streets in Lincoln Manor Addition, under Improvement esolution No. 1491.Filed September 23rd., 1925. In the above matter property ovrners appeared but no written remon- strance was filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed September 30th., and 23rd., 1925 are benefited in the amounts as shown o-n said rolls, and the Board further find, that the assessment rolls filed September 23rd., and Nth, 1925 and the final estimates allowed September 23rd and 30th., 1925 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and. approved. Atty. John Yeagley appeared repres8ntt.g:Tors. Julianne & Martha Iwan and filed v&itten remonstrances against said opening. Atty. MzCutheon also appeared represnathl g remonstrators but filed no written remonstrance. The Board after hearing all interested parties present and. hearing evidence presented, and:beinv`fully advised in the matter takes final action on said resolution, confirm- iring with following modifiedtion: Modified to that the destriet benefitted shall include (strip 300 feet wide measured from the East line of Miami Street, east, and extended from the south line of,Victoria Street to Donmoyer Avenue, confirmed as modified and all .former action taken on the same. The Board therefore declares the above property in all things con- Idemnned and appropriated for public use , and the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all the owners or holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also des- cribe the property beneficially affected. Engineer filed assessment rolls and final estimates as follows: - Grade, curb and walk on Sunnyside Avenue from Jefferson Blvd. to ayne Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 1559, Sheet asphalt pavement on North Shore.Drive, Parkovash Avenue, rquette Avenue, Angella Avenue and Ostemo Avenue all streets in North Shore Terrace Addition under Improvement Resolution No. 1530. Assessment rolls adopted and final estimates allowed. Notice of adoption of the assessment roll and of hearing upon the same on the 21st. day of October 1925 at 7:15 P.I. ordered published as provided by law. II Ciaims amounting to 03,360.62 allowed. The City Engineer submitted the list of property owners in the amtter of the appropriation of certain property under Condemnation Resolution No. 94 for the Opening of Sunnyside Avenue across Grand Trunk Western Railway right of way. `Which list includes the names of the owners and holders of property and its inter est6 therein sought to be taken.or beneficially or incjuriously affected. and the description of the several pieces of property which is affected by the said appropriation proceedings. -Thereupon the Board proceeded to award the damages sustained and to (assess the benefits accruing to each piece of property upon said list, Lopte&, resolve It was thereupon, Apon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously d that said list, together with the amounts of benefits and damages and et benefits and net damages therein set forth as to the several parcels of land be dopted and that. the respective amount of benefits contained in said list be and are ereby assessed,against the several tracts of land as specif ieglly set forth in said list and that the respective amounts of damages contained in the said list be and are hereby warded to the several tracts of land as specifically set forth in said list, and that et benefits or net damages, as the case may be as to the respective tracts of land, contained in said list are hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may be as to the said i everal tracts of land. SThe Board hereby further sets off the benefits -and damages each against he other where both benefits and damages are assessed, against the same piece of pro- erty, tract of land or interests, and hereby fixes the said respective net benefits s the amount that shall be paid .by the respective owners as benefits, and further here- . y fixes ther_respective net damages as to the several trafts as the amount that shall e paid to the owners of the respective tracts as damages. Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously adopted he 4th. day of November 1925 at 7:15 P.M. was fixed as the day on which this Board will eceive or hear remonstrance from persons with regard to the amount of their respective wards or assessments, and the Clerk of this Board was instructed to prepare and cause o'be duly and legally given, notices to the owners of each parcel of property, showing he amount of the assessments or awards, with a description of the property affected, and he date of said hearing.
